Day 1 : Arrival in Bangkok

Arrival at Bangkok Airport (BKK). Welcome to the airport! Our driver will meet you and transfer you to Bangkok by private car, about 01 hour.

Installation and relaxation in your hotel. (Your room will be made available to you between 12:00 and 14:00).

Bangkok, is not only a surprising city, it is disconcerting. Between the street vendors and the skyscrapers more than 100 m high, you will fall in love with this city that never sleeps. Small districts dating from the 18th century, temples, street vendors, floating markets, everything is there for a guaranteed change of scenery.

Free day. Take advantage of it to rest or visit the city freely. (We will give you our good plans in your travel book).

You can visit the capital at your convenience, or enjoy a cruise on the Chao Phraya Tourist Boat. A "One day river pass holder" ticket will allow you to travel on the river all day long and to get off and on as you please to visit the attractions along the river bank. Don't miss the flower market, the Royal Barge of Thonburi, Wat Arun, the Grand Palace and Wat Pra Kaew. And of course for the shopping addicts the Asian Center or our last shopping mall "Icon Square"...

Day 2 : Immersion in the heart of Bangkok

After your breakfast meeting with your guide to visit the highlights of the capital, a beautiful introduction to the religious history of the country and Thai traditions.

You start by visiting the Royal Palace, symbol of the kingdom and Wat Phra Kaew, the temple housing the most venerated Buddha in Thailand.

Then continue your visit to Wat Pho to admire the largest reclining Buddha in the world. You will have the opportunity to buy real handmade amulets by the monks while strolling in the meanders of the amulet market.

Your guide will take you to a local restaurant to taste typical Thai dishes before crossing the Chao Phraya River and taking a boat tour of the unusual khlongs of Thonburi.

Thonburi is the former capital of Siam and is the heart of Bangkok. Sail along the canals (or Khlongs) in your private boat. Old houses, Buddhist temples, itinerant merchants and exotic fauna will ensure a change of scenery.

Return to your hotel.

Day 3 : Direction Ayutthaya and cruise on a rice barge

After your breakfast, your driver will transfer you in a private car to Ayutthaya, the journey will take about 2 hours.

Ayutthaya is located about 80 kilometres north of Bangkok. Founded in 1350, it was the capital of the Kingdom of Siam and a thriving international trading port until it was razed by the Burmese in 1767. The ruins of the ancient city now form Ayutthaya Historical Park, an archaeological site with palaces, Buddhist temples, monasteries and magnificent statues.

Settle into your room which will be available between 12:00 and 14:00, enjoy this free time to relax and refresh before your next excursion.

Then around 5pm, your taxi (tuk-tuk) will pick you up and you will leave on the Chao Phraya River aboard your private rice barge to watch the sunset over the temples of Ayutthaya. The cruise lasts approximately 1.5 hours and you will be served a fruit juice on board.

Day 4 : Discovery of the historical park of Ayutthaya and direction Kanchanaburi

After your breakfast, your English speaking guide will pick you up at the reception of your hotel. You leave, in traditional Tuk Tuk of the region of Ayutthaya, for your visit of the key places of the old capital.

Enjoy the many temples and palaces such as the famous Wat Phra Sri Sunphet, Wat Lokayasutharam or Wat Napramain.

Return to your hotel in the late morning and free time.

Your driver will pick you up in Ayutthaya and transfer you to Kanchanaburi in a private minivan, the trip will take about 3 hours.

Installation and relaxation in your hotel on the banks of the famous Kwai River.

Day 5 : Exploration of the Erawan waterfalls and night in a floating hotel

Your hiking team will pick you up in the morning to head to the amazing Erawan Waterfalls, so don't forget your swimsuit!

On the spot, admire a fabulous waterfall spreading over 7 floors. Then end your morning with lunch at a typical Thai restaurant.

Visit the historic World War II memorial center and walk the Hell fire pass railroad. You will continue your day by relaxing on board your private raft under the waterfalls of Sai Yok Yai National Park (optional buggy ride).

End your day with a delicious dinner on board your raft floating on the river.

Day 6 : Discovery of Sangkhlaburi

This morning departure for Sangkhlaburi lake (about 2h drive), on the way you will have a short coffee break at the beautiful Kroeng Krawai waterfalls. Continue your walk to the three pagodas pass and discover the local market.

Then you will go for a short trek of 1 to 2 hours in the splendid nature of Sangkhlaburi. Finally go down the river in a bamboo raft. Lunch at a local restaurant to get your strength back.

Once full, board your traditional boat for a 1 hour trip on the Sangkhlaburi lake, discovering the local fauna and flora, you will also visit the submerged temple.

Dinner and night in your hotel, with a breathtaking view on the lake, in Sangkhlaburi.

Day 7 : Immersion with your elephant in the river Kwai and return to Kanchanaburi

As soon as you wake up, go for a walk on the biggest wooden bridge of Thailand, admire the fabulous Mon temple and enjoy a relaxing moment in the hot springs of Hindad. Lunch at a local restaurant.

En route to the elephant camp where you can observe and spend time with these elephants in the wild, a unique experience not to be missed.  

During this hour of therapy with the animal, you will accompany him during his mud bath followed by a bath in the river. Throughout this activity, you will be in contact with the animal, equipped with a brush and soap you will pamper it for over an hour, then it will be time to reward it with fruits and caresses.  

Then the day will continue down the Kwai River by canoe/kayak. 

Return to Kanchanaburi at the end of the day. (For ethical reasons, we do not propose the visit of the tiger temple as we do not endorse this activity).

Day 8 : From Kanchanaburi to the floating market of Amphawa

Your driver will transfer you to Amphawa, on your way, stop at the largest stupa in the world Wat Phra Pathom Chedi, located in the small town of Nakon Pathom. In a traditional setting, this impressive monument of 120.5 meters high and 234 meters in diameter is also the first to have been built around the year 539. 

If you are lucky, take the time to observe the different ceremonies, and/or appreciate the presence of monks who study there. And for the most religious among you, go around 3 times from the left to the right to honor the Buddha, his teaching and his 5 disciples in order to meditate in this atmosphere. 

Installation in your hotel, you can then survey the floating market of Amphawa which is for us the most typical of the floating markets around Bangkok. Small wooden houses on stilts, local restaurants where you can taste big scampi or walk in the small streets of yesteryear.

At 15 min from the market is Wat Bang Kung, a magnificent Buddhist temple surrounded by the roots and other branches of the Banyan Tree that you can discover freely (count 10EUR for a cab there and back).

In the early evening (6:15pm) we recommend you to go and watch the sunset and the famous fireflies dance by private boat (30EUR for a private boat).

Day 9 : Discovery of the Mae Klong train market and direction Hua Hin

We advise you this morning to get up very early and go to the Maeklong train market. The best time to visit is at 6:20am when the train leaves to avoid the crowds. Arrive a little earlier so that you can stand in the market to see the train leaving the station.

You can also choose to see the train arrive at 8:30 am, think to be there around 8:00 am in order to position yourself correctly. Be aware that it can be very crowded at that time. Position yourself near the voice at the gates, which will allow you to catch the train as it arrives and departs while ensuring the most authentic experience possible. 

Your driver will pick you up at your hotel in Amphawa and transfer you to Hua Hin in a private minivan, the trip will take about 2 hours.

Settle in and relax in your little piece of paradise (your room will be available between 12:00 and 14:00).

Hua Hin is a pretty small seaside resort of Thailand located in the Province of Prachuap Khiri Khan, 200 km south of Bangkok.

Day 10 : Direction to the paradise island of Koh Talu

After your breakfast, your hotel staff will pick you up at your hotel in Hua Hin and transfer you to Prachuap Kiri Khan port by minivan, where you will board a speedboat to reach Koh Talu island, the total transportation time between the minivan and the boat crossing will be 02h30.

Upon arrival you will check into your room and have lunch at the hotel's restaurant. 

In the afternoon, you will go snorkeling in the clear waters of the island, you will have the opportunity to observe the rich underwater life of this area. 

At your hotel you will have several choices of activities offered: kayaking or hiking to explore the lush nature of the island.

You will have dinner at your hotel's restaurant.

Overnight on Koh Talu Island.




Day 11 : Direction Pranburi

After your breakfast, the team of your hotel will bring you back to Hua Hin, with the trip by speedboat then minivan from Prachuap Kiri Khan to Hua Hin.

Our driver will pick you up in Hua Hin and transfer you to Pranburi by private minivan, about 45 minutes drive.

Settle in your room which will be available between 12:00 and 14:00, enjoy your free day to relax by the beautiful pool of your hotel or on its long sandy beach.

Beach far from mass tourism, with beautiful scenes of local life, between coconut groves, fishing villages, mangrove, shrimp farms, rocky peaks and of course small beach restaurants, you will live like the Thai.

Day 12 : Exploration of Kaeng Krachan National Park

Today, return to nature by exploring Kaeng Krachan National Park which is the country's largest national park (2915 km²) where rich rainforest covers the rugged mountains along the Myanmar border. Besides the great diversity of flora and fauna, Kaeng Krachan is a paradise for birdwatchers, with more than 400 identified species.

You will leave Hua Hin early in the morning by pick up through the countryside where you can see mango trees, papaya plantations and rice fields.

You will then arrive at the Kaeng Krachan reservoir, a beautiful lake dotted with submerged land. The reservoir covers an area of 46.5 km2 and it is the land reservoir that blocks the Petchburi River.

You will then drive through a primary forest offering spectacular views of mountain wildlife and an ocean of mountain ranges covered with green forests all year round. Along the way we see primates, birds, other wildlife and panoramic views.

You will walk along the jungle trail to the Kaeng Krachan reservoir where you will have lunch at a local restaurant. Then you will take a cruise on the lake to see the idyllic scenery of the park. The tour ends at 15:30 and return to the hotel by minivan.

Day 13 : Return to Bangkok and departure for France

After your breakfast, your driver will pick you up in Pranburi and transfer you to Bangkok airport (BKK) in a private minivan, the trip will take about 04h00.

Then according to your flight schedule, take your plane back to France. It is already the end of the vacations but you leave with memories full of head.
