Here is an itinerary for travellers willing to venture into the wilderness of Patagonia. You will start your trip in the capital of tango: Buenos Aires, rich in history. You will then discover the most captivating landscapes Patagonia has to offer. You will be overwhelmed by the beauty and number of glaciers you can see in El Calafate’s region or by the beauty of nature in the differents national parks of Patagonia. You will hold your breath getting up close to southern right whales or Magellan penguins. All this, not forgetting the cultural dimension of your trip. You will have regular contacts with local people and also discover the gaucho culture (Argentine cowboys).

Day 1 : Arrival in Buenos Aires

Day 2 : Buenos Aires city tour and tango show



Private guided tour with english speaking guide. 4-hour city tour by car. Places visited : neighborhood of La Boca with its famous Caminito street, Recoleta and its cemetery, Puerto Madero and Palermo districts.

2-hour walking tour of the city center and San Telmo neighborhood.

Tango dinner-show with live orchestra and talented dancers.

Day 3 : Heading to Puerto Madryn

Day 4 : Valdes Peninsula and whales watching



Regular tour in small group with bilingual guide spanish/english to discover the ecosystem of Peninsula Valdes. Explore on land to see some of the vast wildlife calling this place home such as sea lions, patagonian hare, foxes, guanacos, nandus, etc… Including southern right whales watching (from mid june through early December)

Entry to Valdes Peninsula and lunch are not included

Day 5 : Punta Tumbo and Magellanic penguins

Regular tour in small group with bilingual guide to discover the South America's largest colony of Magellanic penguins. A surprise will await you on your way back.

Lunch and the cost of entry to the reserve are not included.

Day 6 : Heading to Ushuaia



Free morning. Unique opportunity to snorkel with sea lions (in extra).

Day 7 : Tierra del Fuego National Park



Round trip transfer to Tierra del Fuego National Park including a first stop in Laguna Ensenada where you will find the end of the world post office. You will then head in minibus to the starting point of many hiking paths to visit at your own pace Bahia Lapataia, the black lagoon, the roca lake, etc..

Guide and entry to the Tierra del Fuego national park are not included

Day 8 : Beagle Channel boat tour and Heading to El Calafate



Navigate the Beagle Channel in a small boat (25 pers. max) with a bilingual guide (spanish/english). Sail past sea lions and cormorans’ island up until Les eclaireurs light house. Short hike to the peak of Bridges island. Snack and hot beverage included

Day 9 : Perito Moreno glacier and Aboriginal Cultural discovery evening



Regular tour with bilingual guide spanish/english : observation and interpretation of the Perito Moreno glacier from the circuit of footbridges in Los glaciares National Park. Lunch and entry to the National park are not included.

Enquire within to upgrade for the mini-trekking on the glacier.

Evening 4x4 Tour. Travel the Patagonian steppes to some caves that sheltered the first aboriginal populations arrived in the region. Decipher the marks left on the rocks thousands of years ago. Traditional dinner included in the cave. Bilingual guide spanish/english in small group.

Day 10 : Glacier cruise on the Argentinian Lake



Boat tour featuring magnificent landscapes. During the navigation, you will be stunned seeing many glaciers up close, like the northern face of the Perito Moreno, the Spegazzini glacier, some icebergs and in the distance the Upsala glacier. Short walk on an island to enjoy a panoramic view of the region. 

Lunch gourmet sandwich included.

Day 11 : Experience an authentic Patagonian Farm



Half-day tour discovering a pioneer family farm. 2-hour horse riding giving an expansive view over the countryside. Visit of the aboriginal history museum. Barbecue lunch.

One night in an apartment in El Chalten. Breakfast not included.
