Cancún - Tulum - Cobá - Chichén ItzáDeparture in the morning from the lobby of your hotel in Cancún to head to Chichen Itzá. On the way, we will visit Tulum, south of Cancún. This Mayan city, built on the edge of the sea, was very important for the great trade network that the Mayans established with Central America. After that, we head to Cobá, the largest Mayan city on the peninsula, which controlled the trade lands of its time thanks to an immense network of roads; the longest is 100 km and connected the site with other important cities of its time. The day ends in Chichen Itzá to enjoy the nighttime light and sound show (optional). Chichen Itza - UxmalBreakfast. Departure from the hotel. A morning visit to the Chichen Itza site will begin our day. The « Boca del Pozo de los Itzaes », with its impressive constructions; the splendid Castillo, or pyramid of Kukulcán, which is a fine example of the advanced civilization that lived there. The Ball Game, the Observatory and the Sacred Cenote will also leave us speechless. We will head to Uxmal to enjoy its famous nighttime light and sound show (optional). Accommodation in Uxmal. Uxmal / Kabah / MéridaBreakfast. Departure from the hotel. Guided tour of Uxmal, one of the finest representations of Maya architecture. The Governor’s Palace and the Pyramid of the Magician are considered architectural wonders by experts, for their precise construction and their beauty. We continue to Kabah. An unforgettable experience through one of the most decorated and most beautiful cities of the Maya world, characterized by the preeminence of “Chaac”, the rain god, who, in Kabah’s architecture, is venerated, invoked and evoked through the magical repetition of the image of the serpent. Mérida - Izamal - CancúnBreakfast.
