This 8-day group tour offers you a complete exploration of Malta and its islands, through a program rich in cultural and natural discoveries. You will begin with a visit to Valletta, a capital listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you will stroll through its lively streets and discover its historical treasures bearing witness to the era of the Knights of the Order of Saint John. Your journey will then take you to Mdina, an ancient medieval city perched on the heights of the island, from where you will enjoy superb panoramas from its ramparts and discover its unique and timeless atmosphere. You will continue your immersion with the discovery of the famous Three Cities, the historical cradle of Malta, before sailing into the heart of the Grand Harbour, offering an exceptional perspective on the fortifications and the surrounding coves. The tour also includes a visit to the picturesque fishing village of Marsaxlokk, renowned for its colorful market and its traditional boats, as well as an excursion to the spectacular Blue Grotto, famous for its waters with dazzling reflections. Valletta & The Malta Experience in half a day
Set off to discover Valletta, a historic capital founded in the 16th century by the Knights of the Order of Saint John. During a guided tour, you will explore its lively streets and its remarkable architectural heritage. You will enjoy a spectacular panorama over the Grand Harbour from the Upper Barrakka Gardens, before visiting the famous St. John’s Co-Cathedral, known for its Caravaggio masterpieces and its exceptional marble floor. Your walk will continue along Republic Street, passing in front of the Grand Master’s Palace and St. George’s Square. Finally, you will discover “The Malta Experience”, a captivating film retracing the island’s history through the centuries.

Gozo and the Ġgantija temples
After a short ferry crossing, you will reach Gozo, an island with an authentic and unspoiled character. The day begins with a visit to the impressive megalithic temples of Ġgantija, among the oldest monuments in the world. You will then continue to the citadel of Victoria, before discovering the charming bay of Xlendi and the natural site of Dwejra, with spectacular landscapes. Renowned for its traditional craftsmanship, notably lace and knitting, Gozo also charms with its green landscapes and its peaceful atmosphere, offering a pleasant contrast with the main island.

Mdina and its surroundings
This day takes you to the heart of Malta with the discovery of Mdina, the former medieval capital perched on the heights. Nicknamed the “Silent City”, it charms with its narrow streets, its bastions and its blend of architectural influences. Leaving Mdina through the Greeks’ Gate, you will head to Rabat to visit its famous catacombs. You will continue on to the Dingli cliffs, offering magnificent viewpoints over the sea. After lunch, you will discover the San Anton Gardens and the Ta’ Qali crafts centre, before admiring the imposing dome of the Mosta church, one of the largest in Europe.

The Three Cities in Half a Day
Explore the historic region of the Grand Harbour, opposite Valletta, known as the Three Cities: Vittoriosa, Cospicua and Senglea, the cradle of Maltese history. After crossing Cospicua, you will discover Vittoriosa during a walk through its picturesque alleys, lined with historic buildings and former inns of the Knights. You will then board a dgħajsa, a traditional boat, for a cruise into the heart of the harbour’s inlets. From the Senglea gardens, you will enjoy an exceptional panoramic view of the Grand Harbour and Fort St. Angelo, a major witness of the Great Siege of 1565.

Marsaxlokk and the Blue Grotto
Heading to the charming fishing village of Marsaxlokk, known for its colorful boats (luzzus) and its typical local market, particularly lively on Sundays. You will continue on to the spectacular Blue Grotto, famous for its crystal-clear waters with turquoise reflections (optional boat trip possible, depending on weather conditions). You can also admire the islet of Filfla offshore. The day will be rounded off with the discovery of an authentic Maltese village, with its central square, parish church and charming little streets.

Enjoy a free day entirely dedicated to relaxation. You can organize your time according to your desires: swimming, walks, rest, or personal exploration.
