  Day 1 – Arrival in Cape Verde – Sal Island

  

  Upon your arrival on the island of Sal, you will be welcomed by our team, who will welcome you and accompany you to your accommodation. After settling in, you will have free time to discover the town of Santa Maria, stroll through its streets, admire its colonial architecture and explore the charm of its historic center, where Cape Verdean history and culture are revealed at every street corner.   Day 2 – Full-day excursion on Sal Island

  

  Start the day at the dynamic Pontão de Santa Maria and then enjoy the magnificent landscapes of Murdeira. Continue towards Ponta Preta, famous for its waves and its international kitesurfing competitions. Then visit the traditional village of Palmeira and discover the natural wonders of Buracona with its « Blue Eye » and the Fata Morgana mirage phenomenon. Enjoy the unique experience of floating in the salty waters of the Salinas de Pedra de Lume and observe lemon sharks in their natural habitat. Return to your hotel after this exceptional adventure.   Day 3 – Flight from Sal to the island of São Vicente – Snorkeling with the turtles at São Pedro beach

  

  After breakfast, our driver will take you to Sal airport to catch your flight to the island of São Vicente. Upon your arrival at Cesária Évora International Airport, you will be welcomed by our team, then transferred to São Pedro beach, where you will enjoy an unforgettable snorkeling and sea turtle watching experience, accompanied by professional guides from the local community. During the afternoon, you will have free time to relax and enjoy the beach.   Day 4 – Boat crossing to the island of Santo Antão – Porto Novo – Cova – Lin de Corvo – Chã de Pedras – Chã de Igreja

  

  During the morning, you will board a boat crossing to the island of Santo Antão. Upon your arrival in Porto Novo, you will meet your guide and your driver to travel along the spectacular Estrada da Corda, offering magnificent panoramas over the valleys, the mountains and the rural villages. You will then visit the Cova crater, where a short walk will allow you to admire one of the island’s most emblematic landscapes. The itinerary will continue towards Chã de Pedras and the village of Caibros, through arid landscapes with striking contrasts, before reaching Chã de Igreja, where you will spend the night.   Day 5 – Trek from Cruzinha to Ponta do Sol (16 km)

  

  In the morning, après breakfast, a short transfer will take you to the village of Cruzinha da Garça, the starting point of your hike. The route winds along impressive cliffs, ancient paved paths and small villages suspended between the ocean and the mountains. You will discover wild and unspoiled landscapes, shaped by time, as well as spectacular volcanic formations. Lunch will be served in a local home. You will then continue your discovery with a visit to the village of Fontainhas, known for being one of the most beautiful viewpoints in the world.   Day 6 – Hike in the Ribeira da Torre valley and at the Vinha waterfall

  

  Discover the deep and lush valley of Ribeira da Torre, surrounded by imposing mountains and spectacular volcanic formations shaped by nature. Let yourself be charmed by a unique tropical vegetation, made up of terraced crops and a 360° green landscape. Along the hike, you will cross sugarcane fields and banana plantations, lulled by the murmur of the water that irrigates this fertile valley. You will also have the opportunity to cool off by swimming in the crystal-clear waters of the natural pool of the Vinha waterfall. After lunch, return to the hotel.   Day 7 – Cape Verdean cooking class and tasting

  

  This morning, après le petit-déjeuner, you will go to Quinta do Forrador to discover the traditional methods of Cape Verdean cuisine in a family and warm atmosphere. Under the guidance of the chef and your guide, you will have the opportunity to discover, to experiment, to learn and to savor the authentic flavors of Cape Verde, by taking part in the preparation of typical dishes. During this experience, you can also relax by enjoying the property's fresh-water pools, savor the specialties prepared on site and share a pleasant moment of conviviality before returning to your hotel in the afternoon.   Day 8 – Hike in the Paul valley – Return to the island of São Vicente

  

  After a short transfer from your hotel, you will set off to discover the Paul valley, the greenest on the island. Surrounded by majestic mountains, it is home to magnificent terraced crops of sugar cane, fruit trees and coffee trees. This lush landscape, lulled by the murmur of the water that runs throughout the valley, offers an exceptional natural setting. At the end of the walk, you will visit a traditional trapiche (sugar cane distillery). Then, our driver will take you to Porto Novo to catch the boat back to the island of São Vicente. Upon your arrival, you will be welcomed and taken to your hotel located in the center of the island.   Day 9 - Tour of the island of São Vicente – Monte Verde – Salamansa – Baía das Gatas – Calhau - Flight to Praia

  

  After breakfast, you will set off to discover the island with a visit to Monte Verde, which rises to 774 meters above sea level and is the highest point on São Vicente. From its summit, you will be able to admire magnificent panoramic views over the city and the neighboring islands. You will then continue your excursion to the famous Baía das Gatas, one of the island’s most emblematic and most visited sites. The route will continue along the coast, passing through Praia Grande, until arrival in the charming fishing village of Calhau. At the end of the excursion, return to Mindelo via the Calhau oasis. Depending on the schedule of your flight to the island of Praia, our driver will take you to São Vicente airport to catch your flight.   Day 10 - Flight from the Beach to Fogo Island

  

  According to your flight schedule, you will be taken to Praia airport to catch your flight to the island of Fogo. Upon your arrival, you will be welcomed by our team at São Filipe airport, then transferred to the village of Chã das Caldeiras, located in the national park of the island of Fogo.   Day 11 - Ascent to the summit of the Fogo volcano

  

  Climb Pico do Fogo, the highest point in Cape Verde, with its 2 829 meters of altitude. Departure takes place early in the morning in order to enjoy the best conditions. The ascent is demanding, with several sections over volcanic scree, but the panoramas from the summit are exceptional, offering an unobstructed view over the whole island.   Day 12 - Return flight to the island of Praia – Free afternoon

  

  Depending on the schedule of your flight to the island of Praia, you will be taken to São Filipe airport to catch your flight. Upon your arrival, you will be welcomed by our team and then transferred to your hotel located in the centre of the island. Enjoy this free afternoon to discover the island of Santiago at your own pace. Stroll through the lively streets of Praia, relax on a beach, visit the local markets or savour Cape Verdean cuisine in one of the city’s restaurants.   Day 13 - Excursion to Cidade Velha with a guide

  

  Today, discover Cidade Velha, a true journey to the heart of Cape Verde’s history. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this former capital of the archipelago was the first European city built in the tropics. The visit begins with the famous Rua Banana, one of the oldest streets in sub-Saharan Africa, with its colorful traditional houses. Next, you will discover the remains of the Cathedral, the Pelourinho, a symbol of the colonial era, as well as the Royal Fortress of São Filipe, offering a panoramic view over the Atlantic Ocean. The visit also includes the charming church of Nossa Senhora do Rosário, one of the oldest colonial churches still in operation.
