Guided explorations of the Ngorongoro Highlands, immersive cultural activities with the Hadzabe community, and moments of comfort in your private jeep create the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation.

Unterkunft

Day 1 – Tarangire / Karatu Overnight at Country Lodge in Karatu. Comfortable rooms with en-suite facilities, warm hospitality, and dinner included. Day 2 – Lake Eyasi / Karatu Overnight at Marera Lodge. Spacious rooms, modern amenities, and a relaxed atmosphere after your cultural immersion with the Hadzabe community. Dinner provided. Day 3 – Ngorongoro / Departure Breakfast at the lodge before your Ngorongoro Crater exploration. Depending on onward travel, accommodation will be arranged at a lodge or hotel in Karatu/Arusha for convenience before departure.

Tag 1
Airport pick-up to Tarangire National Park
Upon arrival at the airport or at your hotel, you will be warmly welcomed by our driver-guide. After a short briefing, your adventure begins with a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its diverse vegetation zones, rolling hills, and the life-giving Tarangire River. Enjoy a full-day game drive, where you’ll encounter herds of elephants, giraffes, impalas, waterbucks, elands, kudus, and gazelles, alongside predators such as lions, leopards, and hyenas. The park’s iconic baobab trees and acacia woodlands create a striking backdrop for unforgettable wildlife photography. Lunch will be served as a picnic in the park, allowing you to dine surrounded by nature. In the late afternoon, you’ll continue to the Karatu area, where you’ll check into your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Lake Eyasi & Hadzabe Traditional
After breakfast at Country Lodge, depart with a picnic lunch for Lake Eyasi, home to the Hadzabe people—one of Africa’s last hunter-gatherer tribes. Spend the day immersed in their traditions: join morning hunting with bows and arrows, gather wild fruits, learn fire-making skills, and enjoy traditional dances. This authentic cultural encounter offers a rare glimpse into their way of life. In the late afternoon, return to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast at the lodge, depart for the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater. As you arrive at the rim, enjoy breathtaking views of the vast caldera below. Spend half a day on a guided game drive inside the crater, home to the Big Five: lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard, alongside spotted hyenas and countless other species. A picnic lunch will be served in the heart of this natural wonder. In the afternoon, ascend the crater and return to Arusha for drop-off at your hotel or airport.
