  SJO Int. Airport - Alajuela (15 min)

  

  We will welcome you at the airport before taking you to your first accommodation, located in the city of Alajuela. This short trip will also allow us to give you your travel diary as well as your local SIM card. 1 night in Alajuela.

• Tag 2

  Alajuela - Santa Teresa (5 h)

  

  After picking up your rental vehicle / meeting your driver-guide, you will head to the port of Puntarenas, from where you will cross the Gulf of Nicoya by ferry. You will then continue on the road towards Santa Teresa, where you will witness your first sunset over the Pacific Ocean. 4 nights in Santa Teresa.

  Take a 2-hour surf lesson in exceptional conditions and alongside a local athlete, to get back into the water as pleasantly as possible.

• Tag 4

  Santa Teresa - Playa Hermosa (30 min RT)

  

  Set off to discover the fine sandy beaches that have made the region famous. On the way, a stop allows you, when the tide is low, to enjoy the calm of the natural pools.

• Tag 5

  Santa Teresa - Cabo Blanco (3h AR)

  

  Morning excursion in the absolute national reserve of Cabo Blanco, the oldest protected area in Costa Rica! A hike of less than 10 km (round trip) allows you to discover the biodiversity of this region of the country.

  Santa Teresa - Carara N.P. - Playa Hermosa (4 h)

  

  Early departure to reach Puntarenas by ferry, from where you will then take the Costanera Sur to Playa Hermosa. On the way, a stop in Carara National Park allows you to discover typical ecosystems of both dry and wet forests. 2 nights in Playa Hermosa.

  New day at one of Costa Rica's most famous surf spots, Playa Hermosa, which regularly hosts competitions.

  Playa Hermosa - Ojochal (2h30)

  

  Departure for the village of Ojochal, which is developing in harmony with a sparkling fauna and flora! Enjoy your free afternoon to indulge in watching scarlet macaws, monkeys and, for the luckiest, maybe even a sloth? 3 nights in Ojochal.

  Embark on a kayak for an excursion of more than 5 hours, which will allow you to discover a tiny part of the Térraba-Sierpe mangroves, as well as the amazing Isla Garza.

  Ojochal - Uvita (30 min AR)

  

  Take the day to discover the beauty of the region's beaches, where the mountains meet the ocean. An excursion to Marino Ballena National Park allows you to discover the protected terrestrial and marine ecosystems of the area.

  Ojochal - Puerto Jiménez (2h30)

  

  Departure for the Osa Peninsula, and more specifically for the small town of Puerto Jiménez. At nightfall, an enthusiast of the region's biodiversity (and above all of jaguars) will guide you on a 2-hour walk to encounter nocturnal animals. 3 nights in Puerto Jiménez.

  Puerto Jiménez - Dos Brazos (1h RT)

  

  Adventure day alongside a member of Dos Brazos, who guides you through the communities frequented by gold panners, located on the edge of Corcovado National Park.

  Puerto Jiménez - Carate (5h RT)

  

  Meet at sunrise with your naturalist guide. After 2 hours of rough tracks, several rivers to cross and 2 km of walking on the beach, you will finally reach Corcovado National Park, which alone is home to more than 2.5% of the planet's biodiversity!

  Puerto Jiménez - Pavones (3h30)

  

  Departure for Pavones, one of the last villages located on the Pacific coast before the border with Panama. Preserved from mass tourism, you will discover an authentic Costa Rica there, with the added bonus of memorable sunsets over Corcovado. 3 nights in Pavones.
