Charles Bridge in Prague is the most famous and oldest bridge in the capital. With its towers at each end and its 30 statues of saints, true works of art mainly from the 18th century, it connects the Old Town to the Mala Strana district by spanning the Vltava.
The Castle of the Kingdom of Bohemia, a symbol of the Czech State, has dominated Prague since the 9th century on Hradcany Hill.
