Arusha - Tarangire National Park or Lake Manyara

On that day, you can choose to go to Tarangire National Park or Lake Manyara National Park. Depending on the time of year, each of these parks offers a different safari experience. Your guide will advise you on the best visit to make during your safari. TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK: You will leave Arusha at 8 a.m. for about two hours of driving to Tarangire National Park. On the way, you will pass lively Maasai villages and the vast open plains that have become synonymous with images of Africa. Once you have entered Tarangire, you will begin your drive through a rich, endless golden savannah that surrounds the Tarangire River. The river itself flows all year round and is a vital water source for the region's animals during the dry season. The river, lined with acacias and baobabs, is regularly visited by the park's large elephant population, as well as other herbivores such as zebras and antelopes. A picnic lunch with a view of the river is a great way to take it all in, but you will need to stay alert, as the local monkey population does its best to steal your lunch! As you travel through the park, you will also have the opportunity to see lions, leopards, Cape buffalo, and a wide variety of antelopes. If you are particularly lucky, you may even see endangered animals such as the greater kudu or the fringe-eared oryx. Once the day is over, you will retire to your accommodation for the evening. LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK After breakfast, you will leave your hotel for Lake Manyara National Park. The park is a true playground for photographers and offers some of the best game viewing in the world. You can expect to see all of Africa's most famous animals, with the tree-climbing lions being a particular treat. These proud predators settle in the acacias, practically begging to be photographed. Bird watchers will find that Lake Manyara is an absolute delight, with a great variety of birds present in the park. Even novices can expect to be amazed by the large flocks of flamingos, birds of prey in flight, and the brightly colored lilac-breasted roller. You will then retire to the accommodation of your choice for dinner and rest.

Tarangire National Park or Lake Manyara National Park - Serengeti National Park

We will have an early breakfast, as we have a big day of exploration and adventure ahead of us! We will start the day with a walk towards the Serengeti. Along the way, we will cross the rainforests of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you may have the chance to spot Cape buffalo, baboons, or even elephants and leopards in the dense undergrowth. It is almost a four-hour drive to the gates of Serengeti National Park, but you can choose to break up the journey with one or both of the optional activities below: Oldupai Gorge Museum: Sometimes known as the cradle of humanity, the Oldupai Gorge Museum commemorates some of the oldest remains of human habitation ever discovered. Here, you can see some of the world's oldest fossil remains of human life, visit the Oldupai Gorge Museum to learn more about mankind's journey, and admire the breathtaking views of this gorge country. Masai boma visit: Visit one of the famous Masai bomas, where you will have the opportunity to witness (and participate in) a traditional Masai dance, visit an authentic Masai village, and even shop for souvenirs at the local market. Both of the above-mentioned activities incur an additional cost. Speak with your safari expert to find out how to add them to your itinerary. After a delicious lunch at the Serengeti National Park picnic area, it is time to explore the Serengeti itself. Admire the iconic landscape of the African savannah and be amazed by the impressive number of animals roaming these grassy plains. Dinner and overnight in the heart of Serengeti National Park, according to the standard and type of accommodation requested by our options.

Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast, we get back on the road towards the Ngorongoro Crater National Park. Our journey takes us back through the Serengeti by a different route, offering many opportunities to spot the animals you missed on the third day. As far as the eye can see, you will spot thousands and thousands of animals in herds: wildebeest and zebras migrating together, tall and graceful giraffes, leaping antelopes and gazelles, the powerful African elephant, and the most respected group of animals: the predators. You will have the chance to see lean cheetahs and shy leopards, hyenas in search of food, and the king himself, the lion. Dinner and overnight stay on the edge of the Ngorongoro crater, according to the standard and type of accommodation requested among our options.

    Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha

After breakfast, you will depart for the Ngorongoro Crater, sometimes considered the 8th wonder of the world. As soon as you catch your first glimpse of this vast green caldera from the panoramic viewpoint, you will understand why it has gained such a high reputation. With more than 120 species of mammals, including the famous Big Five, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area is one of the most sought-after safari destinations in the world. It is a particularly pleasant place to see the endangered black rhinos, enjoy a solitary meal on the grassy plains, as well as an ideal spot to observe a large number of hippos enjoying the fresh water. In the comfort of your open-roof vehicle, you will be able to observe and photograph some of Africa's most recognizable faces. The crater is home to a large number of predators, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, jackals, and hyenas, as well as a significant population of wildebeest, zebras, antelopes, Cape buffalo, and much more.
