    Beijing City Sightseeing to Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City and Temple of Heaven

Tiananmen Square - the largest city square in the world, where solemn ceremonies of raising/lowering the national flag in every morning or sunset time are held here. Forbidden City - Standing in the center of Beijing, it is protected by high walls and a moat on all four sides and consists of dozens of halls and courtyards. Admire one of world's most legendary ancient royal palaces and the treasures kept on display. Temple of Heaven - a masterpiece of architecture and landscape design where the ancient emperors used to pray for the God's bless of the whole nation.     Excursion to Mutianyu Great Wall & Explore Local Hutongs

    Mutianyu Great Wall

    Excursion to the Great Wall at Mutianyu today. Mutianyu Great Wall is 70km from city center and it takes around 1.5hrs from your hotel. This section of the Great Wall was built in Ming Dynasty was used to serve as the northern barrier defending the capital and the imperial tombs. You will take around 2-3 hours to walk on the 2.5km walls and 23 towers. Cable car is available to avoid climbing, which is optional and payable locally. Transfer back to downtown in the afternoon and stroll at local hutongs, which are old quarters of Beijing with unique courtyard houses since Yuan dynasties. It is regarded as a window into Beijing folk life. You will take a short rickshaw ride through small alleys and pay a home visit to local families to learn more about the architecture and local people's lifestyle. Meal: Breakfast, Lunch

    Morning Tour of the Summer Palace & Olympic Green, High-Speed Train to Xi’an

    Check out after breakfast in the hotel, you will be picked up and driven to visit the Summer Palace, Qing’s Imperial rulers’ favorite summer residence. UNESCO inscribed Summer Palace a World Cultural Heritage Site in 1998. Later, you will take a photo stop at Olympic Green, in which the “Water Cubic” and “Bird Nest” are served as the main venue of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. Take afternoon high speed train from Beijing to Xi'an. The train takes 4.5hrs - 5.5hrs with the highest speed at 300kmh (186mph).     Xian is the starting point of ancient Silk Road. Being the capital of Six dynasties including Qin, Han and Tang Dynasties. Today, you will explore the history and culture of this ancient capital. Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses Museum - one of the 8th Wonders of the World, a landmark of Xian City, is the must-visit attraction for all travelers to China. It is a magnificent collection of terracotta sculptures reproducing the glory of the armies of Qin Shi Huang (the first Emperor of China). Big Wild Goose Pagoda - was first built in Tang Dynasty for the storage of Buddhist scriptures taken from India by Monk Xuanzang and now becomes the city emblem. Grand Tang Nightless City - A few minutes walking from Big Wild Goose Pagoda, is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Xi'an. Stands selling local delicacies and intangible cultural heritage items and time-honoured restaurants are lined on both sides of the main street.     Morning visit to Ancient City Wall & Muslim Quarters. Fly to Shanghai in the Afternoon

    In the morning, visit the Ancient City Wall of Xian, the best-kept and biggest city walls in China. You may have a bike trip on the city walls (optional and on your own expense) and experience the old and modern Xian. Continue your China tour, and take a flight to Shanghai. We met and transfer to your hotel. The rest of time today is your own arrangement to explore the vitality and vibrancy of Shanghai. Muslim Quarters - located at the heart of ancient city of Xian, next to the Bell Tower and Drum Tower. As long as 1000 years ago in Han Dynasty, this area was the hub of the Muslim community in the city. Now it is still home to 60,000 Islamic followers. In the afternoon, you will be transferred to the airport for flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred privately to the hotel. Meal: Breakfast, Lunch

    Full day guided tour in Shanghai today. Yu Garden - one of China's loveliest private classical gardens with 400 years' history. This private garden features traditional architectural style of Yangtze Delta. Its name means Garden of Contentment, and it is indeed a pastoral world apart from modern and hectic Shanghai. The adjacent old quarters is still a busy place for local people and tourists. Former French Concession - a pedestrian street composed of traditional street format of Shanghai traditional architecture style "Shikumen" and modern development. Nanjing Road - the busiest shopping street in Shanghai connecting Renmin Square and the Bund. The Bund - the famous waterfront to see new-erect modern skyscrapers and aged buildings of the colonial period. With the name of "Museum of World Architecture", the Bund has 52 architecture buildings from eclectic, Romanesque, gothic, renaissance, baroque, neoclassical, art deco and beaux-art styles. Shanghai Tower - with the height of 632 meters, Shanghai Tower is the highest buildings in China and the second-tallest building in the world.
