    Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our transfer driver and escorted to the Tulia Boutique Hotel and Spa, near Arusha. The remainder of the day is yours to relax and acclimatize. You may choose to unwind by the lodge’s pool or take a stroll through the vibrant town of Arusha. In the late afternoon, join our team for an informative briefing outlining the exciting adventure that lies ahead on your Kilimanjaro trek.

    After breakfast, you’ll be transferred from your lodge to the Lemosho Gate, the starting point of your climb. After completing park registration formalities, you’ll set off through the enchanting rainforest.     Shira Camp 2 (3,900m) – Barranco Camp (3,960m) via Lava Tower (4,640m)

    Your route today takes you on an acclimatization climb to the Lava Tower, where you will pause to rest and enjoy the views at 4,640 meters. Then you’ll descend into the scenic Barranco Valley, passing towering cliffs and unique vegetation. The trek is challenging but rewarding, with plenty of sights to keep your spirits high. Arrive at Barranco Camp in the late afternoon for dinner and rest. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

  • day 6:

    Barranco Camp (3,960m) – Karanga Camp (4,035m)

    Prepare to tackle the famous Barranco Wall this morning, which requires some scrambling with the help of your guides but no technical climbing skills. The path then winds along a ridge, offering sweeping vistas of the mountain’s diverse landscape. You’ll reach Karanga Camp with plenty of time to relax, share stories, and prepare for the next day.   • day 7:

    Karanga Camp (4,035m) – Barafu Camp (4,640m)

    Today’s trek brings you to Barafu Camp, the base for your summit attempt. The trail passes through rocky and exposed terrain, signaling the final approach to the peak. Upon arrival, take time to rest and have an early dinner, as you will have a very early start for your summit push. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

  • day 8:

    Camp (4,640m) – Uhuru Peak (5,895m) – Mweka Camp (3,080m)

    Just after midnight, your guides will wake you for the final ascent to Uhuru Peak, Africa’s highest point. The journey to Stella Point on the crater rim takes approximately 5 to 7 hours, followed by a short climb to the summit. Bask in the breathtaking sunrise and panoramic views before beginning your descent to Barafu Camp for a brief rest. Continue down to Mweka Camp, where you will spend your last night on the mountain.   • day 9:

    Mweka Camp (3,080m) – Mweka Gate (1,630m) – Arusha

    Enjoy a hearty breakfast and a traditional farewell ceremony with your mountain crew before making the final trek through the rainforest to Mweka Gate. From there, you’ll be transferred back to the Tulia Boutique Hotel and Spa for a well-earned shower and rest. Overnight on bed and breakfast basis.
