    Arrival in Amman

    Arrival at Queen Alia Airport (Amman Airport). Welcome and assistance by our representative for passport and visa formalities, then transfer to your hotel in Amman (30 km). Overnight in Amman.

    Jerash, Iraq al-Amir, the Dead Sea

    We begin our day at the site of Jerash. The city experienced its golden age under Roman rule, a period during which it was known as Gerasa. Today, this site is considered one of the best-preserved Roman provincial cities in the world. Hidden under the sand for several centuries before being discovered and restored over 70 years, Jerash is the very example of Roman municipal planning, vast and formal, throughout the Middle East. After lunch, departure for Iraq Al-Amir. This historic site was built by a Greek prince in the 3rd century BC and remains the only known Hellenistic site in Jordan. Around the remains of the palace of Hyrcanus, the hills are home to many caves, which date back to the Copper Age. Dinner and overnight at the Dead Sea. Distance: 180 km

    After taking the King's Highway, we will arrive at Dana. This natural area is home to more than 500 different plants, thanks to the layering of four topoclimates that coexist there. After a lunch based on local products, we will set off for a meditation and discovery walk within the reserve (3 hours), during which we can admire the landscape and smell the scents of desert plants. 15-minute moments of silence will allow us to admire the place and soak it in. We will spend the night in one of the most magical sites in Jordan, camping, in a timeless place where we do not need electricity to have light. At nightfall, we will be illuminated by the moon and the stars. After sunset, we will share a moment on the terrace to admire a starry sky, free from light pollution. Dinner and overnight in a charming camp in Petra. Distance: 200 km

    First day in Petra

    We reach the monastery (Deir) via the mountains of Beida, territory of the Bedouin tribes Bédoul and Ammarin. Throughout this hike, we enjoy fantastic views of the Negev as well as the Wadi Araba desert and its copper mines. We visit the Monastery, the Qasr al-Bint, the Byzantine church and its mosaics. We take the "adventure" passage of Wadi Farassa which leads to the high place of sacrifice for the picnic. Then, we visit the royal tombs and take the "adventure" passage of Wadi Modlim which opens into the Nabataean tunnel. Dinner and overnight in Petra. Walking time: 10 km

    Second day in Petra, Wadi Rum

    Second day dedicated to visiting Petra, the rose-red city, and more specifically to discovering the Nabataean civilization. In the morning, we visit the Djinn Blocks, the Obelisk Tomb, the Nabataean dam/tunnel, Bab as-Siq, the inner Siq, the Khazneh (Treasury), the outer Siq, then we take the Pilgrimage Route. This leads us to the High Place of Sacrifice of Al-Madhbah, one of the three points of Petra's Religious Triangle. At the top, a panoramic view of the theater, the Lower City, and the royal tombs awaits you. Picnic at the top of Al-Madhbah. In the afternoon, we take the Wadi Farasa path to visit the Lion Fountain, then various styles of tombs, including the Garden Tomb, the Roman Soldier Tomb, and the Triclinium. Then, we return to the Lower City. Dinner and overnight in Wadi Rum. Distance: 150 km

    In the morning, possibility of a 2-hour hike. Then departure towards the Um Fruth arch. After discovering this geomorphological curiosity formed by erosion, we will join our cook for lunch in the desert at Um Muquer, then depart towards the dunes of Wadi Sabet. Dinner and overnight stay at the charming ecological Blue Sky camp in Wadi Rum. Walking time: 6 km

    Wadi Rum, Mount Nebo, Madaba

    Heading north, stop at Mount Nebo to enjoy the panorama over the Jordan Valley and the Memorial of Moses, with its Byzantine frescoes. Then, we will arrive in Madaba, a biblical site with 14 Byzantine churches. Visit to the Church of Saint George, famous for its 6th-century mosaic representing the oldest map of Palestine and Jerusalem. Visit to a mosaic workshop. Dinner and overnight in Madaba. Distance: 350 km
