Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350 m)As soon as you land at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), located in Kathmandu (Nepal), one of our company members will welcome you and take care of you until you reach the hotel. You will meet your guide and receive a briefing about your trek. You will have the welcome dinner in a cultural dance restaurant with the company members.
day 2
Drive to Pokhara, 860 m (220 km) - 6 hoursAfter having breakfast, we will carry our bag and start our journey to Pokhara by tourist bus. Pokhara is 220 km from Kathmandu. Pokhara welcomes you with the landscapes of Annapurna (8,091 m), Machapuchare (6,993 m) to the north, Dhaulagiri (8,169 m) to the west, Manaslu (8,156 m) and Lamjung Himal (6,983 m) to the east. We will reach Pokhara in 6 hours and check in at the hotel. During the journey from Pokhara to Kathmandu, you will enjoy the view of the Trisuli river, the Marsyangdi river, the mountain, the forest, and the roadside market. You will have lunch in a well-managed hotel on the way.
day 3
Route to Nayapul and trek to the village of Hille (1,496 m) - 4 hoursWe will pack our bag after breakfast, then we will start our journey to Nyapul by private taxi. Nyapul is 40.6 km from Pokhara. We will reach Nayapul after 1.5 hours. Nayapul (1070 m) is the starting point of the trek. We will start walking along the Modi Khola, follow the path through Birethanti (1015 m), and enjoy the magnificent landscapes of farmland, the diverse jungle, and the Bhurungdi river. After four hours of walking, we will reach the village of Hille (1496 m). Then, we will check in at the teahouse we have booked, enjoy the hospitality of the Gurung culture, traditional food, and rest for the night.
day 4
Trek to Ghorepani, 2,840 m - 7 hoursToday, we will head towards Ghorepani (2,840 m). After having breakfast in Hille, we will start our walk. Seven hours of uphill walking, with views of the snow-capped ranges of the Annapurnas, Machhapuchhare, and Hiunchuli, will lead us to Ghorepani. Ghorepani is a wonderful village offering a view of Dhaulagiri I, II, III, IV, V, Tukuche, Dhampus, Nilgiri, South Annapurna, Barah Sikhar, and Machhapuchhre. We will stay in a teahouse, enjoy Nepalese food, and rest.
day 5
Morning hike to Poon Hill and trek to Tadapani, 2,520 m - 5 hours.We will wake up before 5 o'clock and hike up to Poonhill, the paradise for photographers, to see the sunrise. Poonhill is the popular attraction and destination of the Annapurna region. The view of the sunrise and the rays falling on the Himalayan ranges is wonderful. The spectacular view of Mount Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, and the 32 other ranges of the Annapurna region is beyond any explanation. You cannot stop being amazed by nature. After capturing the moment in photos and videos, we will return to Gorepani and have our breakfast. We will leave Ghorepani and start walking on the rhododendron trail towards Deurali (2960). We will have lunch at Banthati and reach Tadapani (2520m) after about 5 hours of walking. Tadapani is another beautiful village, fascinated by the mountain peaks and the amazing landscapes. We will spend the night in Tadapani.
day 6
Trek to Sinuwa, 2,340 m - 5 hoursOur walk begins towards Sinuwa (2340 m) after having breakfast in Tadapani. We will reach the village of Chmorong, located on the knees of the Annapurna massif, from where we can clearly see the Annapurna range and Mount Machhapuchhre. We cross the Modi river valley and the rhododendron forest. After 5 hours of walking, we will reach Sinuwa. Rest, enjoy the beauty of the place, and spend the night there.
day 7
Trek to Deurali, 3,230 m - 7 hoursToday, you should walk on a longer path than the day before. We will walk towards Deurali after having breakfast. Seven hours of walking will allow you to enjoy the landscapes of the Annapurna region before arriving at Deurali. This village is a wonderful place, reflecting the Himalayan lifestyle. We will spend the night in Deurali, which will be the last stop before reaching the Annapurna base camp.
day 8
Trek to Annapurna Base Camp, 4,130 m - 4 hoursThe special day of the Annapurna Base Camp trek where we will reach our destination. We will wake up fresh and have our breakfast at Deurali, then start our walk. After four hours of walking, we will reach the Annapurna Base Camp (4130). The wonderful beauty of the snow-capped Annapurna range surrounds you. We will have a 360-degree view from Hiunchuli, passing by Annapurna South to Annapurna I (8,097m/26,566ft), as well as Khangsar Kang, Annapurna III, and Machhapuchhare. A new experience that creates unforgettable memories on the very day. We will stay in the tea houses of the Annapurna Base Camp. Take photos and capture the moment for an everlasting story.
day 9
Trek to Bamboo, 2,050 m - 6 hoursThe ninth day is the first day of the return. We will leave our footprints at the Annapurna base camp and move towards Bamboo after having breakfast. The walk of about six hours brings us to Bamboo (2050 m). We will rest, have dinner, and spend the night in the Bamboo teahouse.
day 10
Trek to Jhinu-Danda 1,700 m via Chomrong - 6 hoursWe will head towards Jhinu-Danda (1700m) from Bamboo after having breakfast. It takes six hours to reach Jhinu-Danda via Chomrong. We will cross the Modi river valley, a forest of rhododendrons, bamboos, and dense oaks. We will stay in Jhinu-Danda, have dinner, and sleep.
day 11
Trek to Nayapul and drive to Pokhara - 8 hoursToday is the last day of the trek. We will pack our bag, have breakfast, and start our walk. About 6.5 or 7 hours of walking downhill will bring us to Nayapul. From Nayapul, we will take a private taxi and head towards Pokhara. We will check in at the hotel in Pokhara, rest, have dinner, and sleep.
day 12
Return by car to Kathmandu.After having breakfast at the hotel in Pokhara, we will return to Kathmandu by tourist bus. The wonderful trek to the Annapurna Base Camp will remain in our memory. We will reach Kathmandu, settle into the hotel, drop our bags, and rest. Our company will offer you a farewell dinner in a cultural dance restaurant. This day marks the last day of our trek. You can also return by plane, according to your wish. If you are too tired, you can also choose this option. We can arrange the flight for you.
day 13
Day of final departureDepending on the time of your flight, we will leave the hotel and our private taxi will drop you off at Tribhuvan International Airport. One of our company members will be with you to wish you a good departure. This will conclude your thirteen-day trek to the Annapurna Base Camp.
