  Suggestions for visits in S. Vicente / City of Mindelo Discovery of the replica of the Belém Tower from Lisbon, the fresh fish market, the African market with its clothes and African objects, the Pracinha de Igreja (the oldest square on the island) and the covered fruit and vegetable market. In the afternoon, take the ferry to the island of Santo Antão. Arrival in Santo Antão. Coastal road to Ponta do Sol. Overnight at the hotel.

Return via Salamansa, a small fishing village. Monte Verde, a promontory with a superb view of Mindelo. On the way down to Mindelo, we can appreciate Monte Cara, which is one of the attractions of São Vicente: it is nothing more than a mountain whose relief, seen from afar and in profile, has the shape of a face.
