  • day 1

    Delhi - Agra

    Departure for Agra and visit of the Red Fort, a gigantic construction overlooking the Yamuna River. It was started by Emperor Akbar in 1565 and completed by successive emperors. Visit of the delightful mausoleum of Itimad-ud-Daulah or Baby Taj, an elegant marble monument inlaid with "pietra dura", built between 1622 and 1626 by order of Empress Nur Jahan in honor of her father, Prime Minister of Emperor Jahangir. Overnight at the hotel.

    Agra – Gwalior

    Early departure for the visit of the jewel of India, one of the seven wonders of the world: the Taj Mahal. This magnificent marble dream stands in the middle of a lush garden, like a pearl in a pristine landscape. Its beauty transcends all description. The Mughal emperor Shah Jahan had it built in 1631 in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal, who died during the birth of their 14th child. It took 22 years for the 2,000 best craftsmen of the kingdom to erect this "Hymn to Love". Nothing was too beautiful: precious stones, pearls, and corals adorn this masterpiece. Then, drive to Gwalior, a former trading crossroads overlooked by a majestic fort housing various temples, tombs, museums, and reception halls around interwoven courtyards. Overnight at the hotel.

    Gwalior – Orchha

    Road to Orchha. Visit of the medieval town with its sandstone palace, its temples, and the cenotaphs on the riverbank. Check-in and overnight at the hotel.

    Orchha – Khajuraho

    Road towards Khajuraho, whose temples are listed as UNESCO World Heritage sites. Check-in and overnight at the hotel.

    Khajuraho

    Visit of the temples made famous by their bas-reliefs illustrating the Kamasutra, but also other pages from the sacred books of Hinduism. Night at the hotel.

  • day 6

    Khajuraho – Bandhavgarh

    Departure towards Bandhavgarh National Park. About 450 km² of hills, forests, and bamboo groves, as well as prehistoric caves, are home to tigers, leopards, bears, and other animals, as well as more than 200 species of birds. Take the tour on elephant back, and don't forget the fort. Check-in and overnight stay in the reserve. Park open from November 1st to July 1st.

    Bandhavgarh

    Day dedicated to the park. Night in the reserve.

  • day 8

    Bandhavgarh – Bhedaghat

    Departure towards Bhedaghat. Boat tour of the Marble Rocks. Check-in and overnight at the hotel.

  • day 9

    Bhedaghat - Kanha

    Departure towards Kanha National Park. Arrival at the park, a wonderful place to observe wildlife still little accustomed to tourists. In this park, which is certainly the most beautiful in India, you will have even more chances to see tigers since they are numerous here. Check-in and overnight stay in the reserve. The park is open from November 1st until mid-May.

    Kanha – Pachmarhi

    Road to Pachmarhi, one of the most beautiful natural areas in India: a plateau rising over 1000 m, interspersed with gorges, waterfalls, rivers with crystal-clear water, steep peaks, and forests teeming with fascinating wildlife. Each year, during Mahashivaratri, many holy sites in Pachmarhi are filled with incredible fervor, especially during the gigantic Chauragarh procession where pilgrims (most of tribal origin converted to Hinduism) bring, from all corners of India, enormous tridents, Shaivite symbols, to plant them in the ground at the top of this sacred hill… Three unforgettable days of encounters and unique sensations… Check-in and overnight at the hotel.

    Pachmarhi – Bhopal

    Road to Bimbekta and visit of the caves listed as UNESCO World Heritage, where Paleolithic hunters and gatherers told their lives through their cave paintings. Continuation to Bhopal. Check-in and overnight at the hotel.

  • day 13

    Bhopal – Sanchi - Bhopal

    Visit of the famous UNESCO World Heritage stupas in Sanchi. Return to Bhopal. Free visit of the city. Overnight at the hotel.

  • day 14

    Bhopal - Ujjain – Amla

    Departure for Ujjain, one of the 7 holy cities of Hinduism. This program will immerse you in the city's highly spiritual atmosphere, with a visit to the Mahakaleshwar temple, dedicated to Shiva, and the Gopal temple, dedicated to Krishna. After that, a walk on the Ghats where, at dusk, devotees play cymbals and light fires. Then, drive to Amla, this small typical town classified as a "heritage village". Stroll through the village and visit the Haat Bazaar, where you can visit local artisans' workshops. Overnight at Fort Amla.

    Amla - Mandu

    Departure for Mandu, also called the "city of joy", one of the most romantic sites in India, known for its legendary love story between King Bahadur and the beautiful Rupmati. Discovery of the ancient capital of a kingdom whose princes, fierce warriors, were also scholars passionate about art and poetry. Visit of the wonderful palaces, baths, pavilions, and mosques. Overnight at the Jhira Bagh Palace in Dhar.

    Mandu – Maheshwar

    Route to Maheshwar, known throughout India for the beauty of its saris, and discovery of its fort, its ghats, and its temples. Night at Ahilya Fort, this authentic place, far from tourist trails, combines luxury and tradition. The fort, built in 1766, is an enchanting palace on the banks of the sacred Narmada river, with a suite, eight double rooms, and two superb tents, all furnished and decorated with antiques. A timeless experience and a princely welcome.

    Maheshwar

    Your day will begin with a walk on the Narmada river before disembarking on the ghats for a visit to weavers' workshops. The city is an important center for the production of brocades and silk saris. The city's finely crafted temples are of definite interest, as is the charming marble image of the goddess Parvati holding the child Ganesh on her lap.

    Maheshwar - Delhi

    Transfer to Indore airport (100 kms), flight to Delhi. Check-in and overnight at the hotel or transfer to the airport.
