• day 1

  Welcome to Rio!

  

  Welcome upon your arrival at Rio de Janeiro airport. You will then be taken to your hotel by private transfer. The afternoon will be devoted to a walking tour of the city center, which is full of cultural treasures such as the Nossa Senhora da Candelária church, XV Square, the Imperial Palace, and the surprising Metropolitan Cathedral. You will have the end of the day free to relax on the beaches of Copacabana. Overnight at the Arena Leme hotel.

  Rio de Janeiro, visit to the Corcovado

  

  Departure in the morning with your guide, who will take you on the way to Corcovado. After crossing the urban forest of Tijuca, you will arrive on the heights of Rio to reach the famous statue of Christ the Redeemer, which overlooks the entire city. You will have a breathtaking view of Guanabara Bay and its legendary beaches. In the afternoon, we recommend visiting the "Pão de Açúcar". The view is truly incredible and striking over the city and the beaches. Return to your hotel at the end of the afternoon. Overnight in Rio.

  On the way to Paraty

  

  This morning, departure from your hotel to reach the small colonial town of Paraty. The journey takes about 3h30. In the afternoon, a bilingual guide will meet you at your pousada for a walking tour of the historic center. Steeped in history, the historic center is a real little gem with its small alleys and colorful houses. Night at the pousada da Marquesa.

• day 4

  Discovery of the bay of Paraty by kayak (2 days, 4 hours of kayaking per day).

  

  This two-day expedition on the calm waters of Paraty Bay is ideal for people wishing to try, for the first time, a multi-day sea kayaking experience. Accompanied by your guide, you will paddle on an emerald sea amidst lush nature, with breathtaking views of the surrounding islands and mountains. The route follows the most beautiful beaches in the region. Often deserted, they will offer many opportunities for swimming. Tonight, you will spend the night in a fisherman's hut for a total disconnection in this little paradise!

• day 5

  Discovery of the bay of Paraty by kayak

  

  Today, you set out to explore the other side of the Paraty bay, with its islands and its magnificent mangrove that you will cross before arriving in Paraty in the afternoon. Night at the pousada da Marquesa.

• day 6

  Hiking in the heart of the Mamanguá fjord

  

  Boat transfer to reach the "fjord" of Saco da Mamangua. A walk (about 1h30 - ascent of 466 m) in the "mata Atlantica" forest will lead you to the summit of Pico do Pão de Açúcar for a breathtaking view of the region. Contemplation, then descent to reach Cruzeiros beach and time for swimming. Night at the Pousada da Marquesa.

• day 7

  Return to Rio and return flight.

  

  Last moments in Paraty, then transfer back to Rio or São Paulo for the rest of your trip. (Extension possible for the Iguaçu Falls.)
