Uzbekistan, discover this 18-day trip

Trip Description

Pearl of the Orient, kingdom of free and endless steppes, land of thousands of legends and myths... This country attracts travelers with its varied landscapes and ancient history. You can find everything in Uzbekistan: fertile and picturesque valleys, huge mountain ranges, arid deserts, and wide rivers. Between the two rivers Amu Darya and Syr Darya, which flow through all of Central Asia, lies Uzbekistan, where a thousand years ago the cradles of human civilization appeared. People built cities there that rivaled Rome and Babylon in their brilliance and splendor. These cities fascinated pilgrims and merchants traveling the Silk Road with their beauty and highly developed infrastructure. The important crossroads of caravan routes later became the most beautiful cities of Uzbekistan: Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva, which continue to fascinate us! For centuries, the multilingual bazaars of the East were bustling, the dusty road was traveled by merchants from Europe, loaded with multicolored silks and precious stones, spices and dyes, gold and silver, birds and exotic animals from the East. A country that aroused curiosity and became the dream of great captains and explorers: Darius, Alexander the Great, Genghis Khan, who came to conquer this land at different times. It was here that Tamerlane founded his empire. Uzbekistan remains, as it was yesterday, a dream standing on the eternal sand. Between destructive wars and conquests, the rulers found time for patronage and the development of science, culture, and art, thus laying the first stone for a whole constellation of great scholars, artists, and men of letters in Central Asia.
