Embark on a true immersion in the iconic landscapes of the American West, where the desert and shades of red sand stretch as far as the eye can see. Travel hundreds of kilometers on legendary roads, dive into the vastness of the wild nature, and experience a unique adventure by sleeping as close as possible to the stars, in the campgrounds of national parks. Imagine opening your tent facing Monument Valley, hiking in the heart of the Grand Canyon, admiring a magical sunset over Zion, or sharing an evening around a campfire at Arches. This 13-day journey, ideal from May onwards, adapts to the seasons: we adjust the overnight stays for your comfort, as some high-altitude areas can be cool at the beginning of the season. To fully enjoy this experience, remember to book your trip at least 6 months in advance. This itinerary is a source of inspiration: together, we will create the journey that suits you.

day 1
Welcome to Phoenix, gateway to the desert.
Your camping road trip through the iconic parks of the USA starts here. Begin your adventure in the vibrant city of Phoenix, an urban oasis surrounded by desert landscapes. After picking up your rental car, head to Papago Park for an immersion in the arid landscapes of Arizona. Climb up to Hole in the Rock for a breathtaking sunset. Night at the hotel to recharge your batteries before embarking on this unforgettable camping road trip through the iconic parks of the USA.
day 2
Discovery of the Grand Canyon
This morning, before hitting the road to the Grand Canyon, stock up on equipment for the upcoming nights of camping in the parks that await you. Then, head towards the Grand Canyon, one of the greatest natural masterpieces in the world. Upon arriving at the edge of the South Rim, take the time to admire the majesty of this ancient canyon, whose multicolored layers stretch as far as the eye can see. Set up at the campsite, then enjoy the different viewpoints such as Mather Point or Yavapai Point. End the day with a walk along the Rim Trail, where the sunset transforms the canyon into a spectacle of golden and purple lights. An unforgettable day where the desert meets the timeless grandeur of the Grand Canyon. First night of camping in the heart of the park: simplicity is the rule in the campgrounds of the US national parks, but the experience is unique.

Page: canyons and Lake Powell
Take off early for a helicopter tour over the Grand Canyon, an experience that will remain etched in your memory. Then, head to Page to continue your road trip, where Lake Powell, despite the drought, retains its magic. Explore the canyons, including the famous Antelope Canyon, or opt for Waterhole Canyon or Lower Antelope for a more secluded and equally beautiful getaway. Don't miss Horseshoe Bend, a majestic meander of the Colorado River. Tonight, a comfortable campsite awaits you for a very different experience from the previous night.

The Wild West of Monument Valley
Monument Valley, emblem of the American West, immerses you in a western movie setting, where you almost expect to run into John Wayne around a cactus! An essential stop on your road trip through the USA's parks. Drive along the scenic Valley Drive by car or with a Navajo guide to admire the famous Mittens Buttes and discover hidden treasures, experts in local legends. Go hiking on the Wildcat Trail or explore the valley on horseback to feel like a real cowboy, hat not included! Sunrise and sunset are magical moments, while at night, the stars illuminate a sky of rare purity, perfect for making a wish... or two. Overnight camping with a breathtaking view of the mesas of Monument Valley.

Route to Canyonland
Pack up camp and continue your road trip through the iconic parks of the USA towards Canyonlands, a spectacular park with lunar-like landscapes. Stop at viewpoints such as Mesa Arch or venture onto the isolated trails for breathtaking panoramas. Overnight camping in the heart of this wild expanse.

Under the Arch of Moab
Continue your journey through the parks towards Moab, a small town nestled in the heart of the desert, which may not look like much, but is located right next to Arches National Park, your playground for the day. Spend the day exploring Arches, where countless trails will guide you through fascinating landscapes dotted with more than 2,000 natural stone arches. For an unforgettable experience, opt for a 4x4 outing at sunset, opening up hidden paths and panoramas inaccessible by regular car. Every turn reveals a new enchantment. You settle into a small motel in Moab for the next two nights, a well-deserved rest after these few nights camping.

Exploration of the Arches
Day of exploration at Arches, between viewpoints and hikes. For the more adventurous, go rafting on the tumultuous waters of the Colorado, where thrills and splashes await. The more romantic, on the other hand, can fly over the vast desert expanses of Moab in a hot air balloon at sunrise, for an incredible view of this corner of natural paradise.

Sunset over Capitol Reef
Today, get back on the road for a new discovery. Destination: the small town of Torrey, home to the discreet but majestic Capitol Reef Park. This hidden gem will offer you one of the most beautiful sunsets of your trip, illuminating the rock formations with vibrant shades of red and gold. An unforgettable evening awaits you in the heart of the desert, camping in the park.

The hoodoos of Bryce Canyon
On the way to the spectacular Bryce Canyon. The park is distinguished by its unique rock formations, the hoodoos, which seem to rise from the ground like fairy chimneys. Hiking, horseback riding or quad biking, everything is in place to fully enjoy this magical setting. Overnight stay in the heart of the park.

Zion, the jewel of the West
Considered by many as one of the most beautiful parks in the West, Zion offers a unique blend of ochre cliffs and lush greenery. Explore the park by bike or set out on an unforgettable hike through the river The Narrows, at the heart of the canyon. A breathtaking experience. Overnight in the heart of the park.

Welcome to Las Vegas, the oasis of excess in the middle of the desert! After the arid crossing, let yourself be dazzled by the Strip, with its extravagant hotel-casinos like Paris, New York-New York, and the Venetian. Relax by the pool or go shopping in luxury boutiques and outlets. In the evening, dive into the city's unique atmosphere: attend a show, try your luck in the casinos, or admire the Bellagio fountain show. End the day with a panoramic view of the city from the High Roller Ferris wheel. In Vegas, every moment is an adventure! Enjoy the comfort of the hotel for your last night.
