Accomodation

For this East Coast, Hualien and Taitung Tour, we’ll spend one night at a centrally located hotel in Hualien and another night in downtown Taitung, giving you easy access to explore the towns. For the final night, we’ve arranged a stay at a charming guesthouse along the East Coast, where you can fully embrace the unique “slow living” vibe of eastern Taiwan. Rooms are set up for double occupancy. Please let us know in advance whether you prefer a large bed or two twin beds. You may also upgrade to a single room by paying the single supplement. If you prefer other room configurations, such as triple or quad rooms, please inform us ahead of time, and we will do our best to accommodate your request (additional costs may apply).     Meet at Taipei Main Station and take the train to Hualien. Begin your exploration at Qixingtan (Seven-Star Bay), where you can listen to the whisper of the Pacific and enjoy the stunning coastal views. After lunch, visit the Hunter School to explore indigenous survival skills. Hualien is rich in indigenous culture, with the Amis tribe being the largest group in the area. At the Hunter School, you’ll learn primitive fire-starting techniques and how to weave rope and create water containers using natural plant fibers—essential skills for survival and hunting in the mountains, reflecting the harmonious relationship between indigenous people and nature. In the evening, experience the local street food culture at Hualien Dongdamen Night Market, then check in at a comfortable local hotel.
