We are passionate about every province of our magnificent country, and Ontario as well as Quebec are especially dear to our moose hearts. So, we have organized a 12-day tour entirely focused on these two provinces! During this tour, you will venture from Ontario to French-speaking Quebec and vice versa. Don't be afraid if you don't speak the language, the locals are friendly! We will take you through Montreal, Quebec City, Mont-Tremblant, Ottawa, Fort Coulonge, Toronto, and the beautiful Algonquin Park. As they say, "When in Rome... or in Montreal..." HIGHLIGHTS: Swim, canoe, or kayak in the wild and refreshing lakes of Ontario and Quebec. Hiking in the Canadian wilderness at Mont-Tremblant and Algonquin Park. Relax around a campfire and listen to the wolves howl at night. Go rafting with one of the largest companies in the world on the Ottawa River. Discover the scenery with a boat cruise through the Thousand Islands. Meet moose, deer, bears, beavers, and more at Parc Omega. Improve your French vocabulary in Montreal and Quebec City. Visit Ottawa and Parliament Hill. Try a beaver tail (don't worry, no beavers will be harmed! It's a delicious Canadian sweet treat).   • day 1

    From Toronto to Montreal

    Our adventure begins early with the friendly welcome of your guide Moose, before you head down the Trans-Canada Highway towards Montreal. Your first stop is at the Big Apple, where they have made more than 3 million apple pies! We highly recommend you try one! Next, a lunch stop and a cruise through the incredible Thousand Islands region, located in the St. Lawrence River between Canada and the United States. You will arrive in Montreal in the early evening and you should join our guide for a night out in the city! (Thousand Islands cruise included).

    Montreal

    You will explore Montreal, the city of festivals. Join your Moose guide and discover the sights of the largest French-speaking city outside of Europe. Or, if you prefer, set out to discover this wonderful city.

    Montreal to Quebec

    You will explore Montreal, the city of festivals. Join your Moose guide and discover the sights of the largest French-speaking city outside of Europe. Or, if you prefer, set out to discover this wonderful city.

  • day 4

    City of Québec

    Take some free time today in Quebec! We suggest exploring the old town on foot with friends, and don't forget your camera. If you want to do a fun activity today, you have the option to join our whale watching tour for $99 in a small French village, Tadoussac.

  • day 5

    From the city of Quebec to Mont-Tremblant

    You will be in the front row to go to Mont-Tremblant, a magnificent ski village located in the Laurentians. Your lunch stop will be at Mont-Tremblant National Park, where you will enjoy beautiful scenery during your hike. You will stroll through the Mont-Tremblant ski village, then you will arrive at the youth hostel and can take a bath or go canoeing before your group dinner. In the evening, you will listen to stories and laugh around a campfire by the lake.

    From Mont-Tremblant to Ottawa

    You will take the road through the spectacular hills of the Laurentians towards Ottawa, the capital of Canada. First stop: we visit Omega Park to get a closer look at the wildlife, including deer, bears, moose, and much more. You can even feed the animals! Once you arrive in Ottawa and settle in at the hostel (a former prison), you will take a walking tour of the city and the historic Parliament Hill. Then, you will go for a few drinks and dinner at the ByWard Market! (Omega Park included).

  • day 7

    From Ottawa to Fort-Coulonge

    Enjoy breakfast at the hostel and free time in the morning to continue exploring the national capital. You will leave in the afternoon for Fort Coulonge, which is a beautiful drive along the river, and you will arrive at Esprit Lodge in the early evening. The evening dinner is a salmon or steak barbecue (vegetarian option also available). If you choose to go rafting the next day ($115 including lunch), you are in good hands. The Esprit team was voted one of the best rafting companies in the world by National Geographic! Join us at the campfire tonight and meet your rafting guides!

  • day 8

    Fort Coulonge

    If you are rafting, an early departure at 7:30 am awaits you. You will take a short walk to the starting point and spend the day on the river, either rafting or windsurfing. If you decide to stay at the lodge, you can swim, canoe, or hike. At the end of the day, you will return to the lodge for another good meal and relax on the patio to watch the sunset with a cool drink.

  • day 9

    From Fort Coulonge to Toronto

    After breakfast, you will get back on the road to Toronto, with a lunch stop at Bon Echo Provincial Park (famous for Bon Echo Rock and some of the most beautiful beaches in the north). You will arrive in Toronto around 6pm. Check in at the hostel, then you can meet your driver later for a drink or explore the city on your own.

    From Toronto to Algonquin Park

    You will leave Toronto early and, after a friendly welcome from your Moose guide as well as an opportunity to meet your travel companions, our bus will head north to Algonquin Park. You will stop for a picnic lunch and enjoy the breathtaking view from the Dorset observation tower. Then, you will spend the afternoon canoeing or kayaking along a cool river! In the evening, we will enjoy a delicious dinner and a campfire under the stars!

  • day 11

    Algonquin Park

    Waking up to the sound of nature is the best way to start our day. Then, you will go to Algonquin Park where you will visit the visitor center and spend the day hiking the trails in the forest to admire incredible viewpoints. You will have your lunch by a beautiful lake and, for dinner, a giant barbecue. Listen to the wolves howl after nightfall: it's a sound you will never forget!

  • day 12

    From Algonquin Park to Toronto

    You will have a hearty breakfast and then it will be time to return to Toronto. You will stop at Silent Lake Provincial Park for a picnic lunch, swim, and take a short hike that winds through mature beeches and passes by a beaver pond to a breathtaking lookout. You will arrive in Toronto around 6 p.m. and will be dropped off at your downtown hostel.
