Discovery of Togolese cultureOn the second day, you will take part in a local cooking class and taste your dishes at lunchtime. Kpalimé in the heart of natureYou will leave for the city of Kpalimé, in the Plateaux region, located about 2 hours from Lomé. Departure for a hike during which you will discover the fauna and flora that make this region so rich. This will be an opportunity to visit coffee and cocoa cooperatives, as well as a local artisanal distillery making alcohol from palm trees. You will have lunch at the foot of one of the beautiful waterfalls in the region and enjoy a moment of swimming. On your return, you can relax before dinner. Heading NorthFrom Kpalimé, travelers will head to the city of Atakpamé, surrounded by seven hills. This will be an opportunity to visit the market and take a tour in the highlands. After lunch, you will continue on the road to Kara, where you can observe the changing landscapes along the way. Arrival at the hotel around 6 p.m., where you can rest and have dinner. From Togo to BeninFrom the village of the Tata Sombas, you will cross the border to go to Benin to discover the unique small village of Boukombé. You will then get back on the road to discover, this time, the Tanougou waterfalls in Kota, where you can swim and have lunch. You will then go to the hotel to relax. Immersion in Dassa-ZoumèAfter breakfast, you will head to Dassa-Zoumé and set off for a mountain hike in the heart of the 41 hills that the region harbors. You will have the opportunity to pass through sacred places, palaces, and you may visit the local king. Departure to Abomey, arrival at the end of the day. Porto-Novo and the lake city of GanviéIn the morning, you will visit the city of Porto-Novo, a calm and historic city marked by its colonial past. You will then be taken to Ganvié, where you can enjoy lunch by the lake before boarding for the lake city, which is on UNESCO's tentative list. You will cross the lake and discover the famous "inhabitants of the water" as you lose yourself in the canals, among the stilt houses. Possotomé and Lake AhéméLake Ahémé stretches over 35 km and its shores are covered with lush vegetation. The inhabitants live from fishing. You will be able to discover these activities, but also the fauna and flora that reign there. You will also discover the village of Possotomé, its thermal spring as well as the voodoo history of the locality. You will be accommodated in a hotel on the lakeside to continue enjoying the place. Ouidah, Grand-Popo and return to TogoFrom Possotomé, you will go to Ouidah to visit the Temple of Pythons and rediscover the voodoo culture. You will then take the sadly famous Slave Route, a 4 km track connecting the city to the sea, listed as a World Heritage site. After sharing a local meal at Justine's, you will head to the beautiful beaches of Grand Popo to enjoy a paradisiacal setting and relax. In the late afternoon, you will return to Togo to a beautiful hotel on the coast, where you can enjoy the last moments. Optional day: Agbodrafo in company.During this day, you will meet an artist and his cultural center.
