day 1
Marrakech - Ait Ben Haddou - Dades ValleyDeparture from Marrakech at 7 am. Two hours later, we will be about to cross the Tizi n'Tichka pass, with a few stops to take beautiful photos of breathtaking natural scenery and different views. We will have breakfast on the road, then continue to the town of Tilouet to visit its fabulous kasbahs. Before reaching Ouarzazate, we will take you to visit the ksar Aït Ben Haddou, a kasbah listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, where we will have our lunch. Then, we will proceed to visit the different sites and studios where famous and well-known movies were filmed. Leaving Ouarzazate towards the northeast will take us to Skoura, a beautiful oasis where wonderful kasbahs decorate the region. After that, we will continue to the Dades Valley. The night will be spent in a hotel in the Dades Valley.
day 2
Dades Valley - Todgha Gorges - Merzouga DesertRoute to Todgha to discover the Todgha Gorges and visit the small town of Tinjdad. After lunch, we will head to Erfoud, the capital of the Orient and the symbol of simplicity. We also have the neighboring town of Rissani, cradle of the Sijilmasa civilization and the Alaouite dynasty. We will then arrive at the fascinating and magical Merzouga, as well as Erg Chebbi, which is one of the highest and largest dune areas in the Moroccan Sahara [where the second is Erg Chabbi, at Mhamid El Ghizlane]. It is time to rest after a Berber tea with nomads. At 5:30 p.m., camels will take you from the hotel for an excursion through the dunes to watch the sunset and enjoy tea with the nomads in the camp, under the golden sun of this queen of the south. Different rhythms of southern music will accompany you throughout the journey. Night under the tent.
day 3
Merzouga - Ziz Valley - Midelt - Ifrane - FesWe will return to the hotel to have breakfast and then head towards Fes. On our way to Fes, we will pass through many beautiful places such as Arfoud, Errachidia, the Ziz Valley, one of the most amazing and fabulous oases and valleys in the world, bringing together the beauty of sand, the gold of palm trees, and the blue of water. Heading north, we will cross the largest cedar forest in Africa, surrounding beautiful small towns like Azrou and Ifrane, where we will make a short stop. We will arrive in Fes in less than an hour, then we will take you to the hotel or the riad.
day 4
FezFes is the oldest imperial city in Morocco. On our fourth day, we will explore Fes and its ramparts. We will also visit the old medina (Fes El Bali), the mosques, the souks, the madrasas or Islamic schools, the Jewish quarter, as well as the first university in the world, Al Quaraouiyine. In addition to that, we will discover and admire the exteriors of the Royal Palace. We will then have a delicious lunch in a traditional restaurant located in the center of Fes.
day 5
Fès - ChefchaouenAfter breakfast, we will head to Chefchaouen, the pearl of the north and one of the best destinations in Morocco. The blue city, founded at the end of the 15th century, has become the top destination for tourists from all over the world. Once in the city, you will have free time to explore the small town at your own pace: the Kasbah, Outa Lahmam square, and a walking tour through the whitewashed streets of the city. Dinner and accommodation in a hotel or riad.
day 6
ChefchaouenAfter breakfast in your riad in Chefchaouen, you will have a great time exploring these waterfalls. The hike requires 2 hours of walking in the midst of unique nature, enjoying the sound of the river and a cup of Moroccan tea. Dinner and accommodation in a hotel or riad.
day 7
Chefchaouen - RabatAfter breakfast, we will take you to another imperial city, known as the Ismaili capital, Meknes. The next step will be to visit the ruins of an ancient Roman city, Volubilis, before exploring a beautiful and historic small town called Moulay Driss Zarhoun. At the end of our tour there, the road will take us to Rabat where we will spend the last night. The night is at the riad.
day 8
Rabat - Casablanca - MarrakechA tour in the capital of Morocco, where you will have the chance to visit the Royal Palace, the Hassan Tower, the Kasbah of the Oudayas, then the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, the grandfather of the Moroccan king. We will then guide you to Casablanca, the city that is both ancient and modern, the metropolis of Morocco and the most populated. There, you will visit the most beautiful mosque in the world, the Hassan II Mosque, built partly on the sea, before returning to Marrakech.
