The Candelaria district is a haven of peace, an island in the center of the capital, with its narrow streets perfect for strolling and its colonial buildings with a laid-back look. Visit of BogotaSet off to discover the capital in complete freedom. A day of walking through the historic center of Bogotá. A very lively and cultural neighborhood, where many artists reside. Visit the fabulous Gold Museum, the Botero Foundation, and Simon Bolivar Square. Ascend Monserrate by cable car, where you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the city of Bogotá. day 3
Departure for the wild region of Meta.Private transfer from Bogotá to Mesetas (5h) You will arrive in the afternoon at the small village of Mesetas. Long a victim of the civil war, this small village suffered greatly from the conflict with the FARC. With the peace agreements, it has been repopulated and is opening up to solidarity tourism to help you discover the richness of the landscapes and traditions of the eastern llanos. Upon your arrival, you will be welcomed by Efrain, your local guide. You will leave by jeep to visit "la unión de los 2 rios". At the exit of the village, two rivers join: one bringing the cold waters from the cordillera and the other carrying the warm waters from the plains of the llanos. After refreshing yourself with a swim, you will go play Tejo in a local club. This typically Colombian game is the meeting point for the "llaneros" after a hard day's work in the fields. The Meta and the Llanos OrientalesYou will leave by jeep towards the small village of Jardin de la Peña, where you will have your breakfast in a local restaurant. There, you will meet Miller, your host for the rest of your stay. You will set off on horseback through the wild landscapes of the llanos to the small farm of Don Miller (2 hours on horseback). You will have lunch with Miller and his family, then, in the afternoon, your host will show you around the area during an ecological hike. You will end this afternoon walk with a refreshing swim in a waterfall. Accommodation and meals at Don Miller's farm.
day 5
The Meta and the Llanos OrientalesAt dawn, you will accompany Miller to feed the farm animals (chickens, ducks, lambs, and fish). Then, after your breakfast, you will set off for a 3-hour horseback ride where you will discover magnificent waterfalls, exceptional wildlife and flora, as well as the secret cave of the Farcs. Family lunch. In the afternoon, you will become familiar with the llaneros culture. You will learn how to use the lasso, go on horseback to gather the herd, and take part in vaccinating a calf. You will learn to fish with a net and cross the lake on horseback during an equestrian immersion workshop! Accommodation and meals at Don Miller's Farm.

The Meta and the Llanos OrientalesYou will set off for a 2h30 horseback ride, where you will discover a hidden cave in the heart of the tropical grove as well as the superb landscapes of the llanos. After a good lunch at the farm, you will set off again on horseback towards the small village of Jardin de la Peña. There, your local guide, Efrain, will be waiting to take you back to Mesetas by Jeep. Accommodation in a finca: El Botalón del Abuelo.

Guajira Desert, hosted by a Wayuu Indian family.Departure from Ríohacha in a 4x4 with your private guide. In the morning, you will visit the Manaure salt mines, the market square, and the central square of Uribia (the Indian capital of La Guajira). You will then head towards Punta Gallina, the northernmost point of South America. You will have lunch in a small inn run by a Wayuu family, right in the middle of the desert. In the late afternoon, you can relax on a deserted beach. At sunset, you will cross a stretch of sea lined with mangroves in a fisherman's boat (1 hour by boat) to reach Emilio's family, where you will spend the night. Night and dinner with Emilio's Wayuu Indian family.

Guajira Desert, hosted by a Wayuu Indian family.Departure in a 4x4 with your private guide to the great sand dune (the highest dune in Latin America). You will spend the morning on a deserted beach, considered one of the most beautiful beaches in Colombia. At the end of the morning, you will visit the Punta Gallina lighthouse as well as a "Mirador" where you will have a spectacular view of the desert and the Caribbean Sea. Lunch with Emilio's family and a nap in the hammocks! Afternoon and sunset on Punta Guja beach. Night and dinner with Emilio's Wayuu Indian family.
day 10
Guajira Desert, hosted by a Wayuu Indian family.Breakfast and boat trip along the sea arm through the mangrove (1 hour by boat). Return to Riohacha by 4x4 through the desert, lunch in a small inn and arrival in Riohacha in the afternoon. Private transfer to your hotel on the edge of Tayrona Park. Tayrona ParkPrivate transfer organized by your hotel to the main entrance of Tayrona Park. Tayrona Park is a magical place, full of history and legends, with incredible biodiversity. Located 34 km from the city of Santa Marta, it is one of the most important natural parks in Colombia. Inhabited by the Tayrona Indians, a native ethnic group of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, it forms the link between the mountain range and the Caribbean Sea. Its white sand beaches, with their wild beauty, invite relaxation. The many hiking trails that cross the park allow you to discover an incredibly rich fauna and flora. In the afternoon, you will kayak down the calm waters of the Rio Don Diego to observe the many species of birds that live on its banks.
