• day 1

  Arrival in Costa Rica

  

  Transfer from San José airport to your hotel. Then, the next day, transfer to pick up your rental vehicle. Head towards your first area of stay / exploration.

• day 2

  San José

  

  Welcome to your comfortable base camp (fully equipped villa or bungalow). You are going to discover a region full of hidden gems: the northern Pacific coast, with deserted beaches, turtle nesting areas, rivers and estuaries populated by tropical birds... Far from the crowds and the well-known traditional circuits. We prepare a schedule that matches your profile (active / family / multi-expectations of a diverse group / wellness / adventure...). What's on the agenda? Turtle watching, introduction to surfing and yoga, crocodiles and tropical birds, deserted beaches and typical restaurants... To discover life the Costa Rican way. Several options are available to personalize this part of your stay: horseback riding, exploring the mangrove by stand up paddle, in-home massages or photography improvement. You save a lot of vacation time by not having to repack your bags every two days, and this allows you to discover Costa Rica in greater depth.

• day 3

  Palo Verde Park

  

  Depending on your traveler profile, your daily program will be oriented more towards discovering deserted areas (beaches or estuaries), unless you are in need of sport and adventure... In any case, this lesser-known region is full of surprises. Today, you could go by boat to explore a wetland on the edge of Palo Verde Park, which is one of the most important places for Costa Rican biodiversity...

  The comfortable adventure

  

  Your base camp is ideally located for what we call: comfortable adventure. You settle in and, even from your terrace, you can observe the monkeys and tropical birds in the park where your eco-villa is located. You still have many options for discovery or well-being. This morning, why not try an introduction to yoga followed by an exploration of the mangrove on a stand up paddleboard?

• day 5

  Relaxing day at the beach

  

  If the weather and timing allow, we will send you to discover a coastline where little-known beaches are nestled. An area where turtles lay their eggs and small typical villages can be found. You will feel like you are at the end of the world or have traveled back in time... With our advice, you will know where to stop to eat local food, and which track to take to reach a dream beach where you may sometimes feel alone in the world. Paradise!

• day 6

  Discovery of volcanoes and waterfalls

  

  You have found your bearings and are in the rhythm... Ready for a road trip to discover another area, this time on the move but with optimized travel times. You leave early this morning to enjoy the day in a brand new region, totally different and full of surprises. Several programs are possible depending on your tastes and the time of year. An example? You explore three volcanoes over three days, with different ecosystems and incredible waterfalls. But you could also opt for a road trip along the coast to head down to the Osa Peninsula? We organize the roadbook and nature discovery activities for you in any case.

• day 7

  Observation of fauna and flora

  

  This is a tailor-made stay that we build with you... If you have chosen a volcano road trip, you will go from hikes to well-hidden waterfalls, wildlife and flora observation activities, hanging bridges, and relaxation in thermal waters... But maybe you have chosen a completely different program and another region... No worries, we have multiple scenarios to offer you. This country is varied enough to satisfy all types of travelers, so why do exactly like everyone else?

  Hiking or lazy day

  

  Today, you have the opportunity to deepen your thirst for discovery. Hiking with a naturalist guide is a good option to observe animals that are not easily approached... Unless you have chosen the southern beaches and their intense tropical scenery, whale watching, or simply a beautiful day of relaxation and Pura Vida?

• day 9

  Day according to your choices

  

  Depending on the distance, you can plan an activity on the last morning before returning to San José. We will also give you tips to make the drive more enjoyable and to stop at the right places. It's a chance to enjoy your vacation a little longer.
