Arrival in MalaysiaArrival at Kuala Lumpur airport, meet and greet, and departure by private minivan to Malacca, located about 2 hours by road from Kuala Lumpur. Transfer to your hotel and the rest of the day free to rest from your journey before starting your 2-week tour in Malaysia.
day 2
Visit of MalaccaFormer crossroads city of the maritime routes linking the Indian Ocean to the South China Sea, Malacca has seen successive Portuguese, Dutch, and English colonizations, a cultural blend from which it retains a picturesque architectural heritage. Visit the ensemble of brick-colored buildings: Dutch Square, the Stadthuys, and Christ Church, next to the Queen Victoria Fountain. A little further on, discover the oldest Chinese temple in Malaysia, Chen Hoon Teng, built in 1645, as well as the ruins of the Portuguese colonization, the Porta de Santiago and the old A Famosa fortress, as well as the remains of St. Paul's Church where Saint Francis Xavier was laid to rest before being moved to Goa. Lunch, visit to the Baba & Nyonya Museum and free time to stroll along Malacca's main street, Jonker Street, and enjoy the many antique and souvenir shops. Then, transfer to Kuala Lumpur and check into your room.

Visit of Kuala LumpurDiscovery of a fascinating city, a subtle blend of antiquity and modernity, where glass skyscrapers stand alongside old colonial-era buildings. You will be able to soak up the atmosphere of the Malaysian quarter, with its wooden houses and very colorful Indian temples. You will start the tour with the magnificent Petronas Towers, the tallest twin towers in the world. Go up to the 86th floor to enjoy a magnificent view of the city. Our guide will then show you Batu Caves, a complex of caves, some of which have been converted into temples, in a limestone hill (272 steps), constituting the largest Hindu sanctuary outside India. You will then go near the botanical garden, where you will visit the Museum of Islamic Arts and the impressive national mosque. You will finish the tour at Independence Square, around which the colonial district extends. At the end of the day, return to your hotel and enjoy a free evening.

Free day in Kuala LumpurFree day in Kuala Lumpur. Take advantage of this day to continue sightseeing on your own or to do some shopping before continuing our itinerary. Sightseeing suggestions: shopping in the malls of Bukit Bintang or at the Central Market in Chinatown, birdwatching at the Kuala Lumpur Bird Park or observing aquatic animals at Aquaria KLCC.
day 5
Mountain regionDeparture for Cameron Highlands, its mountainous landscapes, refreshing air, and tea plantations (it is the largest tea-producing region in Malaysia). Stop on the way for a photo in front of the Lata Iskandar waterfalls and visit the small villages of the Orang Asli tribes. Arrival at Cameron Highlands and visit to the tea factory, where you can observe the different stages of the tea-making process. Take the time to settle on the terrace overlooking the plantations, to enjoy a tea while admiring the magnificent landscapes offered by the surrounding plantations. The rest of the day will be devoted to the various plantations and farms, such as the strawberry plantations and the butterfly farm. To end the day, discover the local market and the Sam Poh temple. Then, check in at your hotel and enjoy a free evening.
day 6
To PenangHeading to Penang, nicknamed the Pearl of the Orient. On the way, you will pass through Ipoh, where you will visit Perak Tong, a Buddhist temple built in a cave. Next, you will continue to the royal city of Kuala Kangsar, which served as the setting for the film Indochine. The city gets its name from a tree with deadly sap used by the Orang Asli for blowpipe hunting. Stop by the magnificent Ubudiah Mosque and the royal palace of Perak (Istana Iskandariah). Then, drive to Taiping and visit the Bukit Merah Orang Utan Island Foundation, where you can observe orangutans. Finally, head to Penang by crossing one of the largest bridges in Southeast Asia connecting Penang to the Malaysian peninsula. Check in at your hotel and enjoy the rest of your free time.
day 7
Visit of PenangPenang was for a long time one of the favored ports of the English on the route to Asia, transporting their ships loaded with tea and opium. This city will charm you with its old houses weathered by time and its elegant arcaded residences, adorned with columns and verandas, a memory of the colonial era. You will visit the main sites of Georgetown, a true multicultural mosaic and historic city listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site: Fort Cornwallis, the clan jetty, Harmony Street which brings together a church, a Chinese temple, a mosque, and a Hindu temple, the State Museum, and the Chayamangkalaram Thai temple, which houses one of the largest reclining Buddhas in Malaysia. You will end the day at Kek Lok Si, the temple of supreme happiness. Located on the hills of Air Itam, an extremely popular retreat for monks and Taoists in search of immortality, it is said to be the largest Buddhist temple in Southeast Asia. Return to your hotel.

Towards BelumDeparture for Gerik and the Belum-Temengor rainforest, where nature lovers will be delighted by the opportunity to observe the beauty of plants and landscapes in one of the oldest rainforests in the world. Arrival at your hotel and the rest of the day free. Overnight at the hotel.
day 9
Day in natureDeparture at 9am for a day of discovery in the Belum-Temengor forest (in English). You will go in search of the rafflesia, the largest flower in the world, and visit an Orang Asli village at Kejar Hill. You will enjoy a picnic at the Sungai Ruok waterfalls and explore the Jenut Papan mudflat. Return and overnight at the Belum Rainforest.
day 10
Paradisiacal beachesDeparture to Kota Bahru and transfer to Kuala Besut to take the 2:00 pm boat to the paradise island of Perhentian. The seaside resort is surrounded by 4-star diving sites, right in front of its coastline. The reefs and crystal-clear water offer a wide variety of corals, sea turtles, small reef fish, and baby blacktip sharks. Check-in at the hotel and the rest of the day is free.

BeachIdyllic free day and relaxation on white sand beaches, under the palm trees. Possibility of activities such as a boat tour, diving or snorkeling to enjoy the seabed.
