It is a cosmopolitan city with a vibrant cultural life. It is also one of the hotspots of Latin American gastronomy. The Candelaria district: it is a haven of peace, an island in the center of the capital with its narrow streets perfect for strolling and its colonial buildings with a laid-back look. You will discover the art of coffee cultivation, visit a traditional market, the Manizales coffee cooperative, and the small village of La Cuchilla del Salado. You will go on a beautiful hike through the sumptuous and hilly landscapes of the coffee region, play Tejo (a kind of local pétanque) with your hosts, learn to cook Tamal, a typical dish of the region during a cooking workshop, and enjoy wonderful moments of sharing and exchange with Duwi and his family.
