• day 1

  Day 1: Arrival in Bogota

  

  Bogotá is perched at 2,600 m altitude, in the heart of the Andes mountain range. With its 9,000,000 inhabitants, it is the political, economic, and cultural capital of the country. It is a cosmopolitan city with a vibrant cultural life. It is also one of the top places for gastronomy. The Candelaria district is a haven of peace, an island in the center of the capital, with its narrow streets perfect for strolling and its colonial buildings with a laid-back look.   Day 2: Visit of Bogota

  

  Set off to discover the capital with your accompanying guide. A day of walking through the historic center of Bogotá. A very lively and cultural neighborhood, where many artists live. Visit the fabulous Gold Museum, the Botero Foundation, and Simon Bolivar Square. Ascent of Mont Serrate by cable car, where you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the city of Bogotá.   Day 3: Gamboa Nature Reserve

  

  Private transfer to Bogota airport and flight to Leticia Private transfer (taxi and boat) to the Gamboa reserve You will travel up the Amazon River for an hour before reaching the Gamboa nature reserve, in the heart of the Amazon jungle, accompanied by a guide. Dinner and accommodation at the Gamboa reserve.

• day 4

  Day 4 and 5: in the heart of the Amazon

  

  During your stay in the Gamboa reserve, you will have a local guide at your disposal all day. You will set out to discover the Amazon jungle through numerous activities (kayak tour on the lake, observation of wildlife and flora, jungle hiking, visit to an indigenous village, piranha fishing, etc.). In the evening, you will sleep in a floating cabin on Lake Pirañas, in the heart of the Gamboa nature reserve, hosted by a local family. Full board stay Day 4: Accommodation: Floating cabin on Lake Pirañas. Day 5: Accommodation in a hotel in Leticia.

• day 5

  Day 6: heading to Cali, the capital of salsa.

  

  In the morning, you will visit, accompanied by your local guide, the village of Leticia and cross the border to visit the village of Tabatinga in Brazil. Flight LETICIA - CALI Private transfer to your hotel, right in the heart of the historic center of San Antonio.   Day 7 and 8: Set off to discover the Pacific coast

  

  Private land transfer to the port of Buenaventura, then community boat to take you to Juan de Dios beach The Juan de Dios eco-hostel is part of a project for environmental protection and the conservation of wildlife and flora. Located in the heart of the Bahia de Malaga natural park, near Buenaventura, it is a small natural paradise where the tropical jungle meets the Pacific Ocean. There is no electricity or running water, in order to encourage communion with the wild nature of this Pacific region. You will discover a small fishing village, hike through the lush nature of the Pacific coast, discover the Sierpe waterfall and the Bay of Malaga during a boat trip, and observe whales (in season). • day 7

  Day 9: Return to Cali

  

  Transfer by community boat from Juan de Dios beach to the port of Buenaventura, then private transfer to Cali. Option: salsa class. Accommodation: San Antonio boutique hotel.

• day 8

  Day 10: Salento and the Cocora Valley

  

  Salento is a beautiful village with the typical architectural style of the coffee triangle. You will discover warm and proud people there, as well as the history of coffee cultivation. Excursions to the Cocora Valley depart from Salento. Private transfer Cali – Salento -4H- Lunch on your own at Salento's main square. In the afternoon, you will visit the colorful village of Salento and the viewpoint, from where you will have a breathtaking view of the entire valley. Accommodation: Hotel Terrazas de Salento

  Day 11: Cocora Valley and Acaime Reserve

  

  The Cocora Valley is a magnificent valley located in the heart of the coffee region. It is home to a tree that is a symbol of Colombia and endemic to this valley: the wax palm, a very tall and centuries-old palm tree. You will discover this superb valley during a hike that will lead you to the Acaime reserve, where you will observe hummingbirds and enjoy a good coffee.   Day 12: Cartagena, the pearl of the Caribbean

  

  Private transfer to Pereira airport and direct flight to Cartagena. (Flight 1h30) Cartagena de Indias is a fantastic city that enchants travelers and tells them the secrets of colonial history and piracy. The many churches that stand within the old city are a reminder of the grandeur of its past history. At nightfall, Cartagena takes on a romantic atmosphere and it is pleasant to stroll through its streets, carried by the sea breeze.   Day 13: Visit of Cartagena

  

  Day dedicated to visiting Cartagena. You will visit the local Basurto market, the Castillo San Felipe, the historic center as well as the Getsemani district. Option: guided tour in French Accommodation: Boutique Hotel Casa Pizarro

• day 12

  Day 14: Departure for Tayrona Park

  

  Free morning to visit Cartagena Private transfer to the Yuluka hotel, right next to Tayrona Park. Late afternoon relaxation by the pool at the Yuluka hotel. Accommodation: eco-hotel Yuluka.

  Day 15: Tayrona Park

  

  Private transfer organized to the main entrance of Tayrona Park. Tayrona Park is a magical place, full of history and legends, with incredible biodiversity. Located 34 km from the city of Santa Marta, it is one of the most important natural parks in Colombia. Inhabited by the Tayrona Indians, a native ethnic group of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, it is the link between the mountain range and the Caribbean Sea. Its white sand beaches, of wild beauty, invite relaxation. The many hiking trails that cross the park allow you to discover an incredibly rich fauna and flora. Lunch at leisure in one of the park's restaurants. Day dedicated to visiting Tayrona Park with your guide. Return to the hotel by private transfer. Dinner at leisure.   Day 16: Rio Don Diego and return flight

  

  Morning dedicated to descending the Don Diego river in an inflatable. You will have a privileged viewpoint to observe the fauna and flora (1/2 day). Free lunch at Yuluka. Private transfer to Santa Marta airport. Flight Santa Marta-Bogota and connection with your international flight. End of our service.
