    Paris - San José

    Takeoff from Paris to San José. Economy class flight with the airline Air France. Arrival at the airport, transfer and check-in at the hotel, delivery of the travel booklet. If your flight schedule allows, you can improvise a cultural outing in San José in the afternoon (Gold Museum, National Museum, National Theater, etc.). 1 night at the Aranjuez hotel in a superior room with breakfast.

    Barra del Pacuare

    Pick up the rental car and drive to Barra del Pacuare. You will stay at Lirio Lodge, from where you can observe many species of animals, such as howler monkeys, white-faced capuchin monkeys, spider monkeys, sloths, exotic plants, crocodiles, basilisks, iguanas, and a wide variety of birds. 1 night at the Lirio Lodge hotel with full board.

    Barra del Pacuare

    Early in the morning, awakened by the singing of birds nearby, you will start the day with a visit to the canals and lagoons of Barra del Pacuare, surrounding this tropical paradise, in order to observe the flora and fauna early in the day. After this beautiful walk, you will return to enjoy a delicious breakfast. Next, the boat will take you to the "Congo" trail for a walk lasting more than 2 hours, during which your naturalist guide will explain all the details of the journey. Afternoon at leisure. Dinner will be served at 7:00 pm in the "El Tucan" restaurant and, if the weather permits, you will have a campfire on the artificial beach "Collar beach". 1 night at the Lirio Lodge hotel with full board.

    Arrival in the Northern plains

    Breakfast, boat transfer and drive to the Arenal volcano. The Arenal volcano undoubtedly has the most eventful volcanic history of the last century in Central America. A perfect cone at 1633 m in altitude, on the edge of the lake of the same name, it offers spectacular landscapes and makes it one of the must-see destinations in Central America.     Visit to Arenal Volcano National Park

    Breakfast at the hotel. In the Arenal Volcano National Park, you have the opportunity to access the famous 1992 lava flow and thus be both very close to the volcano and enjoy the view of Lake Arenal and the Tilarán mountain range.     Arrival in the cloud forests of Monteverde.

    Breakfast at the hotel. You will take the scenic road that goes around Lake Arenal towards Monteverde. At an altitude of 1250 m, you will discover the cloud forest and may catch a glimpse, around a trail in the Monteverde Biological Reserve, of the Quetzal, a legendary bird that once represented the Mayan empire.     Discovery of the Monteverde area

    Breakfast at the hotel. We recommend the Monteverde Biological Reserve, internationally known, to try to spot the mythical Quetzal and many other animals specific to cloud forests.     Discovering the Central Pacific: Manuel Antonio

    Breakfast at the hotel. You will head towards the seaside resort of Manuel Antonio, recently ranked again in the top 10 most beautiful beaches in the world. Recommended visit to Manuel Antonio National Park. This national park is one of the most popular destinations in the country. The white-faced capuchins, the famous squirrel monkey, and even the sloth have made their home here for a long time and delight tourists who come to photograph them from every angle. The national park also contains several beaches, each as beautiful as the next. Relaxation and swimming are on the agenda. 1 night at the Plaza Yara hotel in a suite with breakfast.

    Between Manuel Antonio and Uvita, the marine paradise

    The Baru refuge is of great biological importance, as it is home to several tropical habitats (mangroves, primary and secondary forests, beaches, rivers). From Manuel Antonio, you are only a 45-minute drive from Marino Ballena National Park, known for its wild beaches and its famous whale tail-shaped tombolo.
