  Arrival in Belize

  

  On your first day, enjoy a private transfer from the airport to your hotel in Belize City. Sit back and relax as you begin your journey in this beautiful country, full of vibrant culture, lush landscapes, and warm Caribbean vibes.

• day 2

  Visiting Lamanai

  

  

  Join a shared adventure to Lamanai, one of Belize’s most iconic Maya sites. Your journey begins with a scenic drive through the northern countryside, followed by a boat ride up the New River, where you'll spot tropical birds, crocodiles, and lush jungle along the way. Upon arrival, explore the impressive ruins of Lamanai, including towering temples and ceremonial plazas, all surrounded by rainforest. A knowledgeable guide will bring the ancient city to life with fascinating stories and insights. The tour includes lunch and round-trip transportation from Belize City or Orange Walk.

  Time for ATM Cave Tour

  

  

  Today, you will have an adventurous day! You will visit the Actun Tunichil Muknal (ATM) cave, located a 1.5-hour drive from San Ignacio. This cave is not only known for its geographical beauty, but it is also a natural museum of ancient Mayan artifacts and a sacred burial place. Upon arrival, you hike for 45 minutes through the jungle, including crossing some knee-high streams. Entering the cave, you swim across a pool and then enter the maze of tunnels and chambers to reach the grand Cathedral, the dry chamber, where you can admire the artifacts. After spending around 3 hours in the cave, you enjoy a typical Belizean lunch with rum punch. You arrive back in San Ignacio afterwards.

  A great experience ahead! Today, you will join a full-day collective snorkeling tour. We organize this with a local tour operator who promotes ecologically friendly snorkeling, which is important to us. The 6-hour boat tour will take you to 7 great snorkel stops.

  Caye Caulker is the perfect destination to enjoy the beach and the water. You have a completely free day here. On the main street, there are many local agencies that offer great tours by catamaran, as well as opportunities to go snorkeling, sailing, or scuba diving. The options are endless!

• day 9

  Back to Belize City

  

  Leave the island life behind as you journey from Caye Caulker to Belize City. Hop on a scenic ferry ride across the Caribbean Sea, enjoying the ocean breeze and views of the coastline. Upon arrival at the dock in Belize City, you’ll be just minutes away from the airport or ready to continue your adventure inland.

  Goodbye Belize!

  

  Today, you will be transferred to the International Belize Airport to catch your flight back home.
