  • day 1

    Tehran - Qazvin

    Our 14-day trip to Iran will start in Tehran, the capital of Iran. From Tehran, we will go to Qazvin to spend the night there.

  • day 2

    Qazvin

    This morning, we begin to explore the city. We will visit the following places: Atiq Mosque (the oldest mosque in Iran). The oldest street in Iran (formerly a place for marching during military occasions, dating back to the Safavid dynasty). Chehel Sotoun Palace. Traditional handicraft bazaar.

    Qom

    Today, we will visit Qom, a religious Iranian city. Shiites from all over the world who wish to become members of the clergy come to this city. You will find many Islamic schools here. Visit to the Masoomeh shrine, after which we will continue to the city of Kashan. If you are interested, you can also have interesting discussions with Islamic clerics.

    Kashan

    Although there are many sites in Kashan that may interest tourists, the city remains largely underdeveloped, with fewer than a thousand foreign tourists per year. Visit the following places: Tabātabāei House. Borojerdi House. Fin Garden - Bazaar.

    Kashan - Isfahan

    Today, you will visit the city of Isfahan, famous for its Persian and Islamic architecture, with its many boulevards, covered bridges, palaces, mosques, and minarets. This gave rise to the famous proverb: "Isfahan is half the world." We will visit the following places: Naqsh-e Jahan Square. Ālī Qāpū Palace. Imam Mosque. Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque.

    Isfahan

    Visit the new Jolfa district of the city of Isfahan, which is strongly Armenian, populated with Armenian churches and shops. We will visit the following places: Vank Cathedral (remarkable for its combination of Armenian Christian and Iranian Islamic elements) Bethlehem Church. Khaju Bridge (historic bridge over the Zayanderud River) Si-o-se-pol Bridge (oldest historic bridge built at the beginning of the 17th century).

    Yazd

    In Yazd, we will visit the following places: Jameh Mosque (which is 700 years old and has the tallest minarets in Iran) Alexander's Prison. Amir Chakhmaq Complex. Zoorkhaneh (traditional Iranian gym to watch traditional sport).

  • day 8

    Meybod - Chak Chak

    Today, we are leaving the city to visit Meybod, a city that is 7000 years old. Next, we will see one of the ancient traditional caravanserais (inns) as well as the Chaparkhaneh (post office). Here, you will also find many ice pits, or Yakhchāl. We will then continue to the village of Chack Chack, a major holy site for Zoroastrian worship.

    Kerman

    On our first day in this desert city, we will go to see the bazaar, where we can find copper dishes and explore the various local spices scattered throughout the bazaar area. Then, we will see the Ganja Ali Khan mosque and the Hamam (bath). Finally, we will visit the Jame mosque and the tomb of Moshtagh.

    Kerman

    On our second day in Kerman, we will leave the city to visit Mahan and pay tribute to a nobleman known there as Shah Nemat-Allah. He lived in a mysterious room where everyone can easily discover their own mysterious signs. Next, we will go to see the Shazde Garden. There are many trees, flowers, and birds of different species in this area. Then, we will head towards the Shahdad desert.

    Shiraz

    Today, you will explore the city of Shiraz. This place is a center of Iranian culture. After the Iranian Revolution, Shiraz was reestablished as the capital of Iranian art and culture.

    Shiraz

    Today, you will visit the following places in Shiraz: Jameh Mosque. Rose Mosque. Old Bazaar. Karim Khan Castle. Tomb of Hafez.

  • day 13

    Shiraz

    Today, we will visit the three important historical sites of Shiraz, in the province of Fars, in Iran. These are Persepolis, Pasargadae (ceremonial capital) and Necropolis (cemetery). These places represent the Achaemenid architectural style and existed at the time when the Achaemenid Empire ruled in Iran.

    Tehran

    Today is our departure day. We will return to Tehran for the transfer to the airport. It is time to leave behind all the beauties we have experienced.
