  Arrival at Palermo airport. Route to Castellammare del Golfo. Check-in at the superior 3* hotel, located on the city port. Overnight in Castellammare.

• day 2

  Western Sicily

  

  Day dedicated to Western Sicily. In the morning, you can explore the hiking trails of the Zingaro reserve: a 3-hour loop walk along the most beautiful cliffside paths. Elegant Trapani, Erice, a medieval village perched above Trapani. Return along the salt marshes of Trapani. Night in Castellammare.

  Journey through Sicily of Ancient Greece

  

  Route to the south coast and journey through Sicily of Ancient Greece. Visit to the site of Segesta, to admire the most beautiful Doric temple in the Mediterranean. Route to Agrigento. Afternoon visit to the Valley of the Temples, the most beautiful archaeological site of Greek civilization in the Mediterranean. Possibility to book a guide lecturer for 2 hours. You can complete the visit with the museum to discover the collections of Greek statues and the colossi... Check-in at a 4* hotel by the sea near Agrigento. Possibility of a walk from your hotel to the natural site of the Scala dei Turchi, a huge white marl cliff plunging into the sea. Night in Agrigento.

Stop in the fishing village of Marzamemi for a raw fish lunch experience. This region is one of the most surprising and fascinating in Southern Italy.   Neapoli

  

  Visit to the archaeological site of Neapoli, remains of the most powerful Greek city in the Mediterranean: the theater, the agora, the Latomies, marble quarries... You can spend the rest of the day in the historic center, the Ortigia peninsula: the Maniace fortress, the cathedral built on a Greek temple, the Caravaggio painting... Enjoy the "dolce vita" atmosphere of Syracuse for an evening at a restaurant on the terraces of the Aretusa fountain. Overnight in agritourism in Syracuse.

  The Ionian coast

  

  Departure in the morning for the Ionian coast. Stop in Catania, visit of the city, economic and cultural capital of Sicily. You can follow the Cyclops coast with its medieval villages, interspersed with large flows of lava stone. Then, the Taormina corniche, one of the most beautiful bays of the Mediterranean. Visit in the afternoon of the pretty seaside resort called the "Ionian Pearl". Check-in at the end of the day in a seaside village, at the gates of Taormina. Night in Giarre.

• day 8

  Etna

  

  Departure as early as possible in the morning to reach Etna, with the possibility of ascending up to 1,290 m by cable car + 4x4 jeep (optional). Or environmental discovery with a walking excursion on the northern slopes, a short hike around the major historic lava flows. Stroll along the coastal roads and beaches of Isola Bella. Relaxation and overnight stay in Giarre.

• day 9

  Lipari Volcano

  

  Departure for Milazzo, boarding for the Aeolian Islands and Lipari. Stop at Vulcano, where you can take a walk around the small volcano and enjoy the volcanic phenomena of the thermal park: bubbling baths, mud baths, sulfur baths... Continue to the island of Lipari, the epicenter of the Aeolian Islands and a lively town. Check-in for 2 nights in a 4* hotel. Lunch and dinner not included. Overnight in Lipari.

  The Wind Turbines - Stromboli

  

  Boat excursion through the Aeolian archipelago, with a trip between Panarea and Stromboli, including stops in the most beautiful coves for swimming as well as in the villages of the islands.   Cefalù

  

  You will take the boat back to Milazzo and the road to Cefalù. We suggest stops at points of interest along the Tyrrhenian coast: the sanctuary of Tindari with its viewpoint over the lagoon, the village of Castel di Tusa, and that of San Stefano with its glowing ceramics. Check-in at the seaside hotel in the picturesque village of Cefalù. Overnight in Cefalù.

  The Madonie - Relaxation

  

  Relaxation to enjoy the very beautiful setting of your hotel. Stroll through the alleys, visit the cathedral, possibility of hiking on the heights of the Roccia. We suggest a loop in the Madonie Regional Park.   Monreale - Palermo

  

  Route to Palermo via Monreale, a small town overlooking Palermo, seat of the Norman kings. Here you can discover the cathedral and its cloister, a masterpiece of 12th-century Arab-Norman architecture. You can then settle in the center of Palermo and return your vehicle.   Day dedicated to visiting Palermo to discover a bustling and fascinating city.
