  Welcome to Patagonia

  

  Arrival in Calafate and transfer to your accommodation.

• day 2

  Perito Moreno Glacier with nautical safari navigation.

  

  Departure in the morning to cover the 80 km distance separating El Calafate from the Perito Moreno glacier, unique in the world and constantly advancing. During the journey, you will discover magnificent places in the foothills of the Andes, along the southern shore of Lake Argentino. After crossing the Centinela and Mitre rivers, you reach Brazo Rico to enter Los Glaciares National Park. While skirting Lake Rico, you begin to spot icebergs floating on the water, until you can finally appreciate the full extent of this natural wonder, declared a World Heritage Site by the United Nations. Free time on site, then return to El Calafate.

  From Calafate to El Chaltén

  

  Transfer to the bus station. Regular bus to Chalten. Arrival and transfer to the hotel on your own. A small population born in 1985, located in the middle of a spectacular Andean landscape. Considered the national capital of trekking, it offers different routes for hiking or horseback riding. Here stand the Fitz Roy Tower and other peaks that attract climbers from all over the world.

  Hiking day in Chaltén

  

  The most iconic, spectacular, and unforgettable trek in the region. This is the trek to do if you only have one day in El Chaltén. A trek that takes you through impressive landscapes and forests until you reach the mystical Mount Fitz Roy, admiring lagoons of different shades of blue, imposing glaciers, and campsites visited by famous international mountaineers. This trek begins with a transfer to the trailhead at El Pilar, located 17 km north of the town. We start walking in a dense lenga forest, which protects us from the winds coming from the continental ice field. From the very beginning, we can see many different glaciers: Marconi, Eléctrico, Cagliero, and, in the distance, towards Lago del Desierto, the Vespignani glacier. The path is quite flat and the climbs are gentle. We reach our first viewpoint, the Piedras Blancas glacier. A little later, we leave the forest and emerge into a clearing where we can admire in all their splendor the peaks of the "S", Saint Exupéry, Poincenot, Fitz Roy, Mermoz, and Guillaumet. We then climb 400 m in about an hour to the Laguna de los Tres. During this steep kilometer to the Laguna de los Tres, the path will be rocky and with steps, climbing all the time. Upon reaching the highest point of the trail, we are rewarded with majestic views of Fitz Roy, the glacier de los Tres, and its lagoon. The grandeur of this place makes you feel very insignificant. From there, we go around the Laguna de los Tres and head towards the viewpoint of Laguna Sucia and its glacier. After a rest and lunch, we begin the descent and walk back to El Chaltén. On the way, we pass through varied landscapes, streams with crystal-clear waters, and we pass by Laguna Capri, a favorite spot for photographers. After visiting the lagoon, we descend into the valley where El Chaltén is located. After such an exciting day, why not relax in town with a beer brewed at the local microbrewery or enjoy a hot chocolate accompanied by a homemade cake?

  Return to Calafate

  

  Today, we will return to El Calafate. Presentation by yourself at the bus station to take the regular bus to Calafate. Reception at the Calafate bus station and transfer to your accommodation.

• day 6

  From Calafate to Torres del Paine National Park

  

  Departure in the morning from Calafate, in Chile, to go to Torres del Paine National Park. After a few hours, we will arrive at the hotel and we will have the rest of the day free to choose among the different options to discover in the park (trails, hikes, boat trips).

• day 7

  Torres del Paine National Park

  

  Free day to visit the Grey Glacier, the French Valley or Lake Nordenskjöld.

• day 8

  Return to Calafate in Argentina.

  

  Return to Calafate and transfer to the airport. Arrival in the afternoon (at the end of the day). End of the trip.
