• day 1

  Ayubowan! Welcome to Sri Lanka! Arrival at Katunayake airport and welcome by a representative of our agency. Drive to the Cultural Triangle and check-in at the hotel. Upon arrival in your room, a bottle of wine and a fruit basket will be offered. Lunch at leisure (not included). Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

  Route to Riverston

  

  Breakfast at the hotel Visit the Pidurangala temple. It is a mountain. At the bottom there is a monastery. All along the rocky path, you can see the caves that have been used by monks since the first century BC. At the top, you can admire the reclining Buddha statue, which has been recently restored. You can reach the summit by climbing over the rocks, from where the view, including of Sigiriya, is breathtaking. Then, take the road to Riverston. Free late afternoon to enjoy a walk in the surroundings. Lunch on your own (not included). Dinner and overnight in Matale.

• day 3

  Magnificent hike.

  

  Today, it’s a magnificent hike to discover the authenticity of Sri Lanka in the local village of Meemure. The roads and paths gradually rise. Our route winds through a splendid tropical forest before reaching the beautiful rice fields of Meemure. We observe the high mountains of the center. Throughout the journey, we may have the opportunity to meet the local population. Arrival at the small village of Meemure in the afternoon and lunch with a local family. Participation in the daily activities of this village, then in the late afternoon, return to your accommodation. Walking time: 3-4 hours (this depends on each person's physical condition). Dinner and overnight in Riverston.

  Road to Ella

  

  Breakfast at the hotel Continue the journey to Ella and check in at your accommodation. Free time to enjoy an Ayurvedic massage (not included). Lunch at your leisure (not included). Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

• day 5

  A hike to the hill "Little Adam's Peak".

  

  Breakfast at the hotel Departure for a hike to the hill nicknamed "Little Adam's Peak" (about 1 hour round trip hike). This hike of about 9 km passes through a tea plantation. In the morning, you will meet Tamil families working in the plantations. From the top of Little Adam's Peak, you will see waterfalls and some tea factories. Arrival in Galle and free time to explore the fortified city of Galle. A walk along the fort walls at sunset is very pleasant… Enjoy a romantic dinner under the stars. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
