  • day 6

Discover the Serengeti Northern National Park.

Découvrez le parc national du nord du Serengeti

In the morning, we set out on our safari heading towards the northern region of the Serengeti. Stretching from Seronera for about 100 km, the north of the Serengeti is a gently rolling countryside, interrupted by small rivers, occasional hills, and kopjes. Here resides a plant population with very striking geological occurrences, such as the magnificent Lobo Kopje. The north of the Serengeti is an interesting and varied land, which is far from the main entrance to the park in the south and therefore receives fewer visitors. The migration in this area takes place in August and we may, with a bit of luck, witness the most spectacular river crossings, as the herd tries to cross the Mara River and avoid the strong currents and hungry crocodiles. After a full day, we head to our accommodation where we enjoy dinner and our night's sleep under the magnificent African sky during the "Endless Plain" dinner and the night at Serengeti Heritage Lodge. (Lunch is provided)

  • day 7

One-day experience in the northern Serengeti National Park.

Expérience d'une journée dans le parc national du nord du Serengeti

After breakfast, you will set out to make the most of the day. There is a chance you will see animals crossing the Mara River. Hundreds of thousands of wildebeest gather on the banks of the river. All it takes is one brave wildebeest to take the leap and show the way to the others. The animals that manage to avoid the jaws of the waiting crocodiles and cross the river are rewarded with the lush green grass of the Masai Mara. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Heritage Lodge. (Lunch is provided)

  • day 8

    Safaris in the Serengeti

    Safaris dans le Serengeti

Today, after breakfast, a safari is planned to take you from the north to the center of Serengeti National Park. Here, you will have time to observe the animals in their natural habitat. You will arrive in the late afternoon to check in and relax. (Lunch is provided) Dinner and overnight at Embalakai Tented Lodge.

  • day 9

Enjoy the safari in the Seronera National Park and the center of the Serengeti.

Profitez du safari dans le parc national de Seronera et du centre du Serengeti

The entire day is reserved for other safaris in Serengeti National Park. The Serengeti is home to abundant wildlife, such as impalas, buffaloes, crocodiles, and hippos, but it is especially known for its large migratory herds of zebras and wildebeest. The movement of the animals is determined by rainfall and varies from year to year. In October and December, the animals move from the northern region, dominated by woods and hills, to the grassy plains of the south. During the longer rainy season, from April to June, they return to the north. In addition to the migratory herds, you may also have the chance to see predators, such as leopards, cheetahs, and lions, always nearby. (Lunch is provided) Dinner and overnight at Embalakai Tented Lodge.

  • day 10

From the Serengeti to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Du Serengeti à la zone de conservation du Ngorongoro

After breakfast, you will embark on another incredible safari in the Serengeti before heading to the Ngorongoro Crater. Upon arriving at the edge of the crater in the afternoon, you will have your first glimpse of what awaits you the next day: sparkling streams, open grasslands, and an endless number of animals. You will spend the night at the Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge. (Lunch is provided.)

  • day 11

    Enjoy the picturesque Ngorongoro Crater.

Profitez du pittoresque cratère du Ngorongoro

Very early in the morning, after breakfast, we descend to the bottom of the crater for a day of wildlife observation in one of the most incredible places on Earth, where animals roam freely in the reserves. The caldera was formed about three million years ago, during the massive explosion of a volcano that rivaled the height of Kilimanjaro. It is 610 m deep and covers about 260 square kilometers. It is a closed ecosystem. The word Ngorongoro represents the sound of the bells that Maasai cows wear around their necks. It is one of the best places in Africa to see the "Big Five," as well as wildebeest, gazelles, reedbucks, and many others, as well as about 500 species of birds. You will stop for a picnic by the hippo lake in the afternoon.

  • day 12

    De Ngorongoro à l'aéroport

After breakfast and once your luggage is packed, you will head to Lake Manyara for a short drive. The park is famous for its tree-climbing lions.
