• day 1

  Marrakech

  

  Landing at Marrakech airport (even more relevant if it's Agadir!) and welcome by a shuttle chartered by the riad. Accommodation in the medina in a 3* riad with half board. Depending on your arrival time, immerse yourself at your leisure in the alleys, or even the souks of the famous imperial city.

• day 2

  Ijoukak

  

  A private transport will take you along one of the different possible routes to tackle the High Atlas. One of them allows you to discover the potters of Tameslohte, the mineral desert of Agafay, and Lake Lalla Takerkoust. Otherwise, simply take the N7 via Asni. Half-board accommodation at the Berber inn Tigmi n'Tamazirte, from where you can visit the potters of your host Houssein's family.

• day 3

  Tizi n Test and Taroudant

  

  Your driver will take you over the peaks of the Western High Atlas via the Tizi n'Test pass and its many bends. The landscapes are magnificent. After a long descent into the Souss Valley, you will discover the medina of Taroudant and may even take a carriage ride around the ramparts. There is still a short hour of mountain road to the Berber village of Afensou, absolutely outside the tourist area! Half-board accommodation in a traditional guest house, rustic but comfortable, at Les Terrasses de l'Atlas with Luc and Hafida.

• day 4

  Berber immersion in Afensou

  

  The program remains adaptable to your needs, we offer you a bucolic walk to the small Tamdousnous gorge to discover Berber mountain life and enjoy the beauty of nature. In the afternoon, Hafida offers you some typical workshops: making flatbread, cooking classes, preparing argan oil or amlou (the Berber Nutella!). Same accommodation with full board.

• day 5

  Hiking in the middle mountains

  

  Depending on your preferences and your physical condition, a guided day hike with a packed picnic is offered to explore the nearby mid-altitude peaks and enjoy the magnificent panoramas of the Atlas. Same accommodation with full board.

• day 6

  Trekking or 4x4 ride in the high mountains

  

  Take sometimes dizzying trails to meet the shepherds and humble farmers of the mountain villages. Possibility to continue on foot towards waterfalls. A traditional hammam will revive you at the end of the day, as will an excellent tasting meal. Same accommodation with full board.

• day 7

  Back to Marrakech

  

  A private taxi will take you back to Marrakech in the morning, where you will still have the afternoon to discover one or another monument, or indulge in some shopping (in moderation!). Half-board night in the same riad as the first evening.

• day 8

  Flight back

  Transfer to the airport.
