• day 1

  France - Delhi

  Welcome at Delhi airport by our team and transfer to your hotel. Night at the hotel.

• day 2

  Delhi – Leh

  

  After breakfast, transfer to the airport to take the flight to Leh. Welcome at Leh Kushok Bakula airport (3500 m / 11565 ft above sea level) by our representative and transfer to the hotel. Half-day rest at the hotel to acclimatize to the high altitude of Ladakh. Lunch will be served at 2:00 pm. In the afternoon, around 3:30 pm, visit of the Shanti Stupa and the 17th-century Leh Palace. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

• day 3

  Leh – Indus Valley – Leh

  After breakfast, you will enjoy a full day of sightseeing in the Indus Valley. (47 km one way - round trip 94 km - 5/6 hours). After breakfast, around 8:30 am, departure for a full day of sightseeing in the Indus Valley. On the way, visit the 16th-century Shey Palace, Thiksay Monastery, and the 17th-century Hemis Monastery (47 km from Leh). You will arrive at Hemis Monastery around 10:30 am. Hemis is the largest monastery of the Drukpa Kagyud sect. Lunch at Thiksay in a local restaurant. Visit Thiksay Monastery and Shey Palace. Then, return to Leh. Overnight at the hotel.

• day 4

  Leh - Nubra Valley

  

  Today, after breakfast, drive to the Nubra Valley, known as the oasis valley. The road journey from Leh to Nubra Valley passes through the Khardong-La pass (one of the highest motorable roads in the world, at 5602 m), about 39 kilometers from Leh. Along the way, you will admire the panoramic glaciers of the Zanskar range. After 1 hour of driving, you will pass through the village of Kardungla, the first village on the way to Nubra Valley. Stop at the village of Khardong for lunch. You will arrive at the village of Deskit around 3:00 pm or 4:00 pm. Deskit is the main town of Nubra Valley. Visit the Deskit monastery dating from the 14th century and the 35-meter Maitreya Buddha. Then, drive to Hunder, known for its sand dunes located 6 km from Deskit. Explore the picturesque beauty of Hunder and enjoy a camel ride. Overnight in Nubra Valley at the hotel. Note: It is advisable to take a tablet against altitude sickness.

  Visit of the Nubra valley, Panamik hot spring and Summor Gompa monastery.

  

  After breakfast, visit the village of Panamik. The Panamik destination is very popular in Ladakh for its hot springs known for their medicinal value. There are baths for women and for men. The Panamik hot spring is located on the road that crosses the Nubra Valley in Ladakh up to the Siachen Glacier, at the border with Pakistan. Easy hike around the pond. After this walk, departure for the visit of the Samthangling Monastery. It was built in 1834 by Lama Tsultrim Nima. The monastery is the second largest in the Nubra Valley and belongs to the Gulag-pa sect of Tibetan Buddhism. Overnight in Summor in a luxury camp

• day 6

  Nubra Valley - Leh by the same route

  

  After breakfast, around 9:00 am, return to Leh by the same road. We will stop in the village of Khardong for a short hike through the barley fields and in the very photogenic village of Khardong. Lunch in Leh. You will arrive in Leh around 3:00 or 4:00 pm. Free evening to explore the Leh market. Overnight at the hotel.

• day 7

  Leh - Pangong Lake

  

  After breakfast, departure for Lake Pangong via the Changla Pass, at 5,783 meters (the third highest motorable road in the world). This route takes the visitor through the picturesque villages of Shey and Thiksay, then leaves the Indus valley via the side valley of Chemrey and Sakti. Lake Pangong is located at 4,267 meters. One rarely feels so close to nature and the environment, and the landscape is unforgettable. Hike at the lake and exploration of the beauty of the site. Overnight in a luxury camp.

• day 8

  Pangong Lake - Leh

  Today, don't miss waking up early in the morning, around 5:30 am, if you like taking photos of the sunrise over Pangong Lake. Breakfast will be served around 7:30 am. After breakfast, return to Leh by the same route. On the way, visit Chemday Monastery. Lunch at Thiksay restaurant. After lunch, continue to Leh and you will arrive in Leh around 16:00 or 17:00. Overnight at the hotel.

  Leh - Likir - Alchi

  Today, after breakfast at 8:00 AM, departure towards Alchi along the Indus on the Leh-Srinagar highway (Kashmir). On the way, visit the beautiful view of the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar rivers. Visit the Likir Monastery, the second largest monastery of the Gelugpa sect in Ladakh after the Thiksay Monastery. Continue towards Alchi. Lunch in the village of Alchi at a local restaurant. After lunch, around 3:00 PM, visit the Alchi Monastery dating from the 11th century and hike around the village. Overnight at the hotel.

• day 10

  Alchi - Leh via Lamayuru

  After breakfast, around 8:00 am, return to Leh while visiting the fascinating landscape of Lamayuru, popularly known as the "Moon Landscapes" among tourists. (You will understand why this region is called the land of the Moon: exactly the same land formations are visible as on the moon.) Visit the Lamayuru Monastery. Continue towards Leh by the same route, stopping at the Kaltse village market for lunch at the restaurant. After lunch in Kaltse, drive another 20 km to visit the Rigzong Monastery and the Nunnery School at Rigzong. You will arrive in Leh around 5:00 pm or 6:00 pm. In the evening, explore the Leh market on your own. Overnight at the hotel in Leh.

  Leh – Delhi

  After breakfast, transfer to the airport to take the flight to Delhi. Welcome at Delhi airport by our team and transfer to the hotel. In the evening, orientation tour of New Delhi and visit to the Sikh temple. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

• day 12

  Delhi - Departure

  Breakfast at the hotel, then departure for the visit of New and Old Delhi. Visit of Gandhi's house, where Gandhi was assassinated ("Birla House"). Orientation tour of New Delhi. Visit of the Sikh temple. The great mosque of Jama Masjid and a walk in the old city of Delhi. Dinner in a restaurant and transfer to the airport for the return flight. End of our services.
