• day 1

  Fortaleza - Jericoacoara

  Upon your arrival at Fortaleza airport, a private 4x4 will be waiting to take you to Jericoacoara. After about 5 hours of driving, you will arrive at your hotel. There will be several stops along the way so you can rest and have a meal. Meals not included Night at the Jeri Dunas pousada - standard double room with breakfast.

• day 2

  Jericoacoara - Free day

  Free day in this paradise-like place. You can relax, stroll through the sandy streets, or go kitesurfing. Once a fishing village, Jericoacoara is now a lively tourist destination, with many restaurants and bars to party all night, as well as a beautiful beach for swimming during the day. Meals not included Night at the Jeri Dunas pousada - standard double room with breakfast.

• day 3

  Jericoacoara - Parnaíba

  In the morning, you leave Jericoacoara aboard a private 4x4. You will pass by Mangue Seco (dried mangroves on the beach). After an hour of driving through sand dunes and along the beach, you arrive at Tatajuba, where you can swim in the lake and have lunch. After the lunch break, you continue on the sand dunes for an hour to the ferry, to reach Camocim. Here, you drive for about two more hours to Parnaiba. Meals not included. Overnight at Vila Parnaiba pousada – standard double room with breakfast.

• day 4

  Parnaíba - Tutóia

  In the morning, a private car will pick you up and take you to Porto dos Tatus. You will then depart for an excursion on the Parnaíba Delta by private boat. A very rich ecosystem, composed of dunes, mangroves, and a varied fauna, the Delta is made up of more than 70 islands. You will have the opportunity to swim in water that is both fresh and salty, and to observe amazing wild animals such as crabs or iguanas. You will arrive at the port of Tutoia at the end of the afternoon and a private vehicle will be waiting to take you to your pousada, in Tutoia. Meals not included. Night at the Jagata pousada – standard double room with breakfast.

• day 5

  Tutoia - Atins

  In the morning, a private vehicle will pick you up at your hotel reception and take you to Atins. You first take an asphalt road to Paulino Neves, then continue on a sand road to Caburé – about 2 hours of travel. In Caburé, you cross the river by private motorboat to Atins. Arrival at your pousada in the late morning. In the afternoon, you leave with your local guide in a shared 4x4 towards the northern area of the Lençóis Maranhenses park. After about 30 minutes by 4x4, you arrive at the entrance of the park. You will then have free time to swim and walk in the dunes. Depending on the water level in the lagoons, you will visit one or more lagoons. You stay in the park until sunset. Possibility to have dinner at Mr. Antonio's, who cooks the best shrimp in the Northeast. No need to ask for his recipe, he keeps it well secret (not included). Return to Atins in the early evening. Meals not included. Night at Vila de Pescador pousada – standard double room with breakfast.

• day 6

  Barreirinhas - Preguiças River - São Luís

  In the morning, you leave for an excursion aboard a private motorboat on the Rio Preguiças (the Lazy River). You will navigate among the mangroves and igarapés. You will have time to observe the rich fauna and flora of this ecosystem. You will make a first stop at Caburé, a former fishing village bathed by the river on one side and the ocean on the other. You will have time to swim there. You will continue towards Mandacaru and can see the lighthouse and visit the craft shops. You will then go to the village of Vassouras, where you can walk around and swim in the Petits Lençóis, and observe the monkeys, ready to do anything for a piece of banana. You then return to Barreirinhas at the end of the afternoon. From Barreirinhas, you leave by shared minibus towards São Luis. Arrival in São Luis, at your hotel, around 9:00 p.m., after about 4 hours of driving. Meals not included. Night at the pousada Portas da Amazonia – double room with breakfast.

  Sao Luis - Departure

  

  At the agreed time, a private vehicle will pick you up at your hotel reception and take you to São Luis airport. Meals not included Night not included End of our services.
