day 1
Arrival in QuitoAfter being welcomed by your French-speaking guide at the airport, you will be taken to your guesthouse, located in the very heart of the historic center of the capital of Ecuador. A place full of history, whose owners will be able to explain its past to you.
day 2
Quito, cultural heritageIf Quito has been classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, there is a real reason for it. Its hilly configuration and the many buildings from the colonial and republican eras make it the most beautiful capital on the continent. You will visit churches, convents, and the cathedral. Then, you will continue with a sweet note by tasting Ecuadorian chocolate, which has an international reputation. But the day does not end there and you will continue into the night with an exclusive visit, the details of which will remain a surprise...
day 3
On the way to North IndiaDirection Otavalo, whose reputation is based on its crafts (notably its market) and flower production. First stop at the archaeological site of Cochasqui, where you can discover the romantic life of Princess Quilago. You will then continue with a visit to a rose plantation to discover all the secrets and methods used to obtain the multicolored petals found in the markets. The owners will show you around their hacienda as well as the rose showroom, which will surprise you with its diversity and explosion of colors. You will spend the night in a hacienda further north, to soak up these places that have marked the history of this country.
day 4
Cuicocha, high-altitude lake and the Middle of the WorldA bit of mountain all the same: you will visit the Cuicocha lagoon, perched in the heart of an ancient volcano. A great opportunity for beautiful couple photos with an exceptional backdrop of a paradise beach. Lunch afterwards in a place that favors national cuisine with local "organic" products, a chance to share unique flavors. This place is located on the true Middle of the World, the equatorial line that divides our planet in two. Return to Quito to find your guesthouse.
day 5
Flight to the magical AmazonYou will take a flight of less than an hour to reach the city of Coca, from where you will be transported by boat to arrive at your luxury accommodation, the Selva Lodge. It is the perfect combination to discover the lush rainforest in comfort and safety. You can take the opportunity to treat yourself to a massage and a bath in the jacuzzi.
day 6
First walk in the tropical forestThis day will be dedicated to discovering the tropical environment, with a walk in the forest. The guide will share with you his knowledge of local plants and their uses, as well as the wildlife he will be able to show you amidst the dense forest canopy. In the evening, you will enjoy a canoe ride, exclusively for you, on the Garzacocha lagoon at sunset. A way to soak in the intense sounds of the forest before returning to your room.
day 7
Amazonian secretsAnother excursion awaits you to meet the animals of this preserved forest. Monkeys, toucans, macaws... you will see all kinds. A bath of heat and oxygen. There is no wilder place in the Amazon. In the evening, your table will be reserved for a wedding surprise.
day 8
Return to QuitoAfter a special breakfast, you will be taken to Coca airport for a return to the capital. A driver will be waiting for you there to take you to a high-end hotel. You will then have free time to stroll around the tourist district of Quito, shop for souvenirs, or, if you wish, visit a museum that we can suggest according to your interests. Similarly, we can recommend a restaurant for a romantic dinner if you wish.
day 9
See the condors and... finish at the hot water baths.Nature day with a walk at the foot of the Antisana volcano, a reserve where you can observe condors in the wild. Landscapes of "páramo", those famous Andean plateaus with tall grass swept by the wind. From there, you will head to Papallacta and its hot springs for a hot bath at altitude. We guarantee you a peaceful night with such a program!
day 10
An Andean giant named CotopaxiLeaving the hot waters of Papallacta will not be easy, but it's for a good cause since you will be heading to Cotopaxi, the iconic volcano whose snow-capped summit is known to everyone here. You will visit the park and climb at least up to the refuge at 4600 meters. You will continue this day towards Baños, a spa town where it is pleasant to stroll. You will therefore be given a little free time. You will spend the night in what is one of the most beautiful hotels in the city, with a spa, pool, and hammam.
day 11
Waterfalls and return to QuitoThe most famous waterfalls in the country are called "Pailón del Diablo," the Devil's Cauldron. That gives you an idea of the power of this waterfall, which you can approach thanks to a network of steps and bridges. You can even take a zip line to cross over the Pastaza River and overlook other waterfalls, the more romantic "Manto de la Novia": the Bride's Veil. You will then get back on the road to return to Quito.
day 12
The Galápagos, after DarwinThe 3rd emblematic region of the country: the Galapagos archipelago. So, off you go to this preserved paradise, a little less than 3 hours away by plane. You will arrive in Baltra, where you will be met by your local guide after completing the entry formalities required by the local authorities. To give you an overview of the richness of these islands, you will visit the Charles Darwin Research Center.
day 13
Direction IsabelaIsabela is, for us, the wildest inhabited island of the archipelago. After 2h30 of navigation by speedboat from Santa Cruz, you will arrive at Puerto Villamil. From there, impatience will take over and no one will stop you from going for a swim at Concha y Perla beach, close to your hotel. In the afternoon, you will be taken by boat to the Tintoreras islet, named after the sharks that can be observed there from land. The show begins: a colony of iguanas, penguins, pelicans, some blue-footed boobies, playful sea lions, turtles, and marine iguanas. A bit of snorkeling will allow you to judge for yourself what this exceptional sea is hiding.
day 14
Visit to Cap RoseThis visit is one of our favorites: seeing blue-footed boobies from one meter away, sometimes nesting or performing their courtship display. Then, diving protected by a lava reef to swim above a sea turtle as big as you, just a few centimeters above it, following its languid movements. It's like an intense yoga session, and the joy will be visible on your face. Being teased by curious penguins that come to nibble your fins, approaching lobsters or harmless sharks. To end this already beautiful day, you can take a walk to the lagoon where pink flamingos take refuge, then continue on to the white sand beaches, especially the one called Love Beach.
day 15
Trek at the Sierra Negra volcanoImagine a volcano whose mouth is the second largest in the world, with a "lunar" landscape from which fumaroles emerge! Well, this volcano is also located on Isabela. Its last eruption was in 2005, so it's definitely an active visit! 9 km in diameter! You will walk along one side for a viewpoint, both of this "caldera" and the rest of the island. The afternoon will be free to enjoy once again the beaches of our favorite island.
day 16
Return to the continent and international flightAfter this equatorial honeymoon, you will take a fast shuttle from Isabela to Santa Cruz, then a transfer to Baltra. Today, a day of flights, via Guayaquil, to your home country. We are certain that memories full of your mind will make your honeymoon a unique and unforgettable moment.
