• day 1

  MARRAKECH - OUARZAZATE CITY

  

  From the group at Menara Marrakech airport, you will be taken care of by the driver-guide, who will drive you to Ouarzazate. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

• day 2

  OUARZAZATE - M'HAMID - RASS N'KHEL (2h walk)

  

  Before entering the Saghro massif, which you cross via the Tizi n'Tinfifta pass, here is now the magnificent Drâa valley, with its ksours and kasbahs, which you follow up to the village of M'hamid El Ghizlane, where you wait for the camel drivers who will take care of the Morocco desert trek 8 days / 7 nights.

• day 3

  RASS N'KHEL - DUNES OF AIT OUNIR (4h walk)

  

  Your nomadic caravan sets off towards the dunes of Aït Ounir, in the midst of a magnificent sandy landscape. In the distance, you can see the first dunes of the Erg Zaher as well as the Hamada of Drâa.

• day 4

  AIT OUNIR - ERG SMÂR (4h walk)

  

  You cross the Drâa wadi and head north, with the Bani mountain in sight. You return to the Erg Smâr and the Tel Attin wells, where you settle for the night.

• day 5

  ERG SMÂR - OUED MEZOUARIA (5h walk)

  

  The dunes become more and more spaced out and give way to the immense plateau forming the foothills of the Djebel Bani. After a few stops in the shade of the tamarisks, you reach the Oued Mezouaria in the late afternoon.

• day 6

  MEZOUARYA - OULAD DRISS (4 h walk)

  

  You cross the Erg Lehoudi to reach the palm grove of Oulad Driss. Here and there, you see numerous canals diverting water to the crops. Rest and shower at our bivouac.

• day 7

  Oulad Driss - Ouarzazate - Marrakech

  

  You get into your vehicles to leave Oulad Driss and go up the Draa valley to Ouarzazate, then cross the Tichka mountain (2260 m) towards Marrakech, the red city.

• day 8

  MARRAKECH

  

  Transfer to the airport and assistance until boarding. Alternatively, continuation of your stay in Marrakech. End of the Morocco desert trek, 8 days / 7 nights, departure from Marrakech.
