• day 1

  Airport - Colombo (about 1h)

  

  Upon your arrival at the airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our team and transferred to your hotel. Afterwards, you will set off to discover Colombo, the economic capital of Sri Lanka. Your day will be punctuated by visits to iconic landmarks such as Independence Square, the old Parliament, and the Galle Face Green, offering breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean. After this first immersion into the city's rich history and contemporary life, you will spend the night at the hotel to rest and prepare for the next stage of your journey in Sri Lanka.

• day 2

  Colombo - Galle (about 3 h)

  

  The morning gives you free time to relax or to further explore Colombo at your own pace. Take the opportunity to do some shopping, taste local specialties, or simply soak up the atmosphere of the city. In the early afternoon, you will head towards Galle. Upon your arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel, where you will spend the night. Galle, with its colonial charm, fortifications, and peaceful atmosphere, promises a captivating experience for the rest of your stay in Sri Lanka.

  Galle - Mirissa (1h30 by road)

  

  In the morning, you will set out to discover the city of Galle, a UNESCO World Heritage site, by exploring its historic fort and picturesque shopping streets. This city offers you magnificent testimonies of its colonial past, with its well-preserved fortifications and unique atmosphere. On the way to Mirissa, you will make a welcome stop at Unawatuna Bay, where you will have the opportunity to visit a temple located at the end of the beach. This cultural stop will allow you to further immerse yourself in the spiritual richness of Sri Lanka. Once you arrive in Mirissa, you will settle into the hotel for the night.

  Mirissa

  

  Today, you will be able to fully enjoy a day of relaxation at Mirissa beach. This day of free time will allow you to lounge on the golden sand, swim in the crystal-clear waters of the Indian Ocean, or take part in water activities if you wish. It is a perfect opportunity for you to recharge and appreciate the natural beauty of Sri Lanka. At the end of the day, you will return to your hotel for the night.

  Mirissa - Udawalawe (about 2h30)

  

  The morning still offers you some free time in Mirissa, which you can spend at the beach, exploring the surroundings, or relaxing. You will then head towards Udawalawe Park. On the way, you will be amazed by the variety of Sri Lankan landscapes passing before your eyes, offering a mosaic of natural settings. Sri Lanka is indeed renowned for its geographical diversity, from beaches to mountains and lush green plains. Once you arrive, you will spend the night at a hotel near Udawalawe Park, preparing for an exciting adventure to discover the wildlife and flora of this national park.

  Udawalawe - Ella (about 2h)

  

  At dawn, you will head to Udawalawe National Park for a jeep adventure that will allow you to observe wildlife. It is a unique opportunity to see animals, including elephants, monkeys, birds, buffaloes, and many more, in their natural habitat. After this enriching experience, you will head towards Ella, a typical small mountain village nestled among waterfalls and lush flora. Ella is renowned for its picturesque environment and breathtaking landscapes, making it an essential stop on your trip to Sri Lanka. You will spend the night at the hotel in Ella.

  Ella - Nuwara Eliya (2 h by train)

  

  Your day begins with a hike to Little Adam's Peak, where you will be rewarded with a spectacular view from the summit. This experience will offer you a unique perspective on the mountainous landscapes of the region. After the hike, you will return to the hotel for breakfast. Then, departure towards Nuwara Eliya by train (the train ticket is not included), crossing beautiful tea plantations. This train journey will allow you to discover an unknown side of Sri Lanka, exploring regions off the beaten path and offering you a picturesque railway experience. You will spend the night at the hotel in Nuwara Eliya.

  Nuwara Eliya

  

  Nuwara Eliya is a mountainous region that abounds in natural riches. You will start your day early in the morning by heading out to visit Horton Plains National Park, a wild reserve where there is a great variety of birds and plants. This excursion will allow you to explore the natural beauty of the region, with its lush landscapes and breathtaking panoramas. After your visit to Horton Plains National Park, you will have free time in the afternoon to relax or to further explore Nuwara Eliya at your own pace. This region offers many opportunities for nature lovers and mountain landscape enthusiasts. You will spend the night at the hotel in Nuwara Eliya.

  Nuwara Eliya - Kandy (about 3 h)

  You will leave Nuwara Eliya to go to Kandy, meaning the "king of the mountain." Once you arrive in this picturesque city, you will explore its streets on a walk, discovering its unique charm and lively atmosphere. Your day will also include a visit to the Temple of the Tooth Relic, a sacred place that houses the precious relic of the Buddha's tooth. It is one of the most revered sites in Sri Lanka and an essential stop on your journey. Next, you will enjoy a pleasant 4-kilometer walk along Kandy Lake, which offers peaceful views and a serene atmosphere in the very heart of the city. You will spend the night at the hotel in Kandy.

  Kandy - Dambulla (about 3h)

  In the morning, you will start the day with a pleasant walk in the Peradeniya Botanical Garden, a vast area stretching over nearly 60 hectares. This park is famous for its impressive collection of orchids as well as its harmonious design along the Mahaweli River. A visit to this garden will allow you to appreciate the beauty of Sri Lanka's lush nature. Next, you will head towards Dambulla, a city listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and located in the heart of Sri Lanka's cultural triangle. Dambulla is renowned for its temples that house ancient Buddhist murals and statues, thus creating a place of great historical and spiritual importance. You will spend the night at the hotel in Dambulla.

  Dambulla

  

  In the morning, you will set out to discover the Dambulla caves, nestled high up. These rock temples are spread over 5 distinct caves, each housing its own ornaments, including murals and Buddha statues. Visiting these caves will immerse you in a unique spiritual and artistic experience, bearing witness to the history and deep faith of Sri Lanka. In addition to the cultural richness, you will be amazed by the panoramic view of the valley, which is simply breathtaking from these heights. You will spend the night at the hotel.

  Dambulla

  

  At dawn, you will head towards Sigiriya, also known as the "Lion Rock", a UNESCO World Heritage site. This visit will allow you to discover the wonders both inside this imposing rock formation, nearly 370 meters high, as well as the treasures of the surrounding gardens. The climb to the top of the Lion Rock is an unforgettable experience, rewarded with a breathtaking panoramic view. You will be able to explore the ancient palace ruins located at the summit and admire the preserved frescoes along the way. After this enriching exploration, you will have free time to enjoy the serene atmosphere of Sigiriya. You will spend the night at the hotel.

  Dambulla - Negombo (about 4h)

  

  Today, you will leave Sigirîya to go to Negombo. In the afternoon, you will have the opportunity to relax on the beach, enjoying some well-deserved relaxation time. Negombo is renowned for its beaches and water activities, making it an ideal destination to recharge by the sea. You will spend the night at the hotel in Negombo.

  Negombo - Airport (about 30 min)

  

  In the morning, you can enjoy one last free time by the pool to relax and refresh yourself before your departure. It's the perfect opportunity to savor the last moments of your trip. Then, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight, thus marking the end of your journey of discovery of the "Pearl of the Indian Ocean."
