• day 1

  Airport - Windhoek

  Arrival in Windhoek, completion of police and customs formalities, collection of your luggage. Welcome by our French-speaking guide and departure towards Windhoek to collect your vehicle, as well as the delivery of your travel documents by your guide. Itinerary with your guide to your guesthouse. Depending on the weather, we may take a tour of the city. Dinner and overnight at Londiningi Guesthouse.

• day 2

  Windhoek - Waterberg Plateau

  Breakfast and departure for the city of Okahandja, with a stop at the Okahandja market to visit the market. Continuation towards the Otjiwarongo region, then towards the Waterberg. Check-in at our lodge. Lunch at leisure and, in the afternoon, you can take a long walk up to the Waterberg plateau. Dinner and overnight at the Waterberg NWR Resort.

• day 3

  Waterberg - Etosha

  Etosha National Park undoubtedly offers one of the most beautiful images of wildlife in the world. It covers more than 22,000 km², home to 114 species of mammals and 340 varieties of birds. Breakfast and drive to Etosha National Park. On the way, possibility to visit the Hoba meteorite, which is one of the largest meteorites in the world. Then, continue to Etosha Park for a safari with your vehicle. Dinner and overnight at Mokuti Lodge.

• day 4

  Etosha

  Etosha National Park undoubtedly offers one of the most beautiful images of wildlife in the world. It covers more than 22,000 km², home to 114 species of mammals and 340 varieties of birds. A full day of safari in the park. Dinner and overnight at Mokuti Lodge.

• day 5

  Etosha

  Breakfast, then departure towards the Etosha plains for a full day safari with your vehicle. Etosha, the "great white space", takes its name from the Etosha Pan depression (which means dry water point). Lunch at your leisure and safari in the afternoon in the park towards Anderson's Gate. The Etosha Safari Camp lodge is located 5 km from Anderson's Gate. Dinner and overnight at Etosha Safari Camp.

• day 6

  Etosha - Palmwag

  Breakfast and drive to Damaraland, with the possibility of visiting a Himba village in the small town of Kamanjab, before setting off for a day of exploration in this region of Damaraland. This may be the most interesting day of the trip, searching for the endemic wildlife of the desert... Most of the time, encounters with rhinos, giraffes, oryx, and springboks. Dinner and overnight at Palmwag Lodge.

• day 7

  Palmwag - Twyfelfontein

  In the heart of Damaraland, in a vast mountainous amphitheater dominated by a chaos of smooth, red rocks, as if fallen from the sky, this day will probably be the most iconic of your stay. Breakfast and drive to Twyfelfontein. Visit to a living museum of the Damara people, then, in the afternoon, departure for the Huab River in search of desert-adapted elephants. Dinner and overnight at Twyfelfontein Country Lodge.

  Twyfelfontein - Swakopmund

  Breakfast, then departure to visit the famous site of "Twyfelfontein" to discover rock engravings and paintings that are six thousand years old. Then departure towards the Namibian coast. Arrival in Swakopmund, a small seaside town in Namibia located north of the Namib Desert. Dinner and overnight stay at leisure at the Organic Square Guesthouse.

• day 9

  Swakopmund - Kayak - Walvis Bay

  Morning dedicated to discovering this famous bay populated by pink flamingos and several colonies of fur seals. During this birthing season, it is essential to approach them in the best possible way: by sea, on a cruise. To avoid frightening them, you observe them from very close. This excursion is suitable for all levels, even if you have never kayaked and do not know how to swim! In fact, excellent supervision, good equipment, a life jacket, and above all the absence of current or waves, since you are inside the lagoon, are guaranteed. At noon, you will have free time to visit Swakopmund and have lunch wherever you wish. The afternoon is also free. You can therefore take the opportunity to do an optional excursion (at your own expense): a flight over the coast (breathtaking landscapes) or a 4x4 excursion to Sandwich Harbor. You can also simply stroll around Swakopmund (remarkable mineral museum) or along the shores of the lagoon. Dinner is at your leisure and overnight at the Organic Square Guesthouse.

• day 10

  Swakopmund - Namib Desert

  Breakfast, then departure for Walvis Bay and continuation towards the Namib Desert with a stop at the Kuiseb Canyon, a very important river in Namibia as it stops the progression of the dunes to the north. Crossing of the Tropic of Capricorn. Mandatory stop at Solitaire, a gas station lost in the middle of nowhere that looks like the Baghdad Café in Namibia. Dinner and overnight at Namib Desert Lodge.

• day 11

  Sesriem - Sossusvlei - Deadvlei

  This day will probably be the most iconic of your stay: breakfast, then departure before dawn to witness the morning colors of the Namib Desert, which has some of the highest dunes in the world. Discovery of the Sossusvlei and Deadvlei sites. Exploration of the Sesriem Canyon, formed by the Tsauchab River, which has carved a 30 m deep gorge. Return to the lodge in the afternoon and free time to enjoy the lodge and the pool. Dinner and overnight at Namib Desert Lodge.

• day 12

  Namib - Mariental

  Breakfast, then head south towards the foothills of the Kalahari, where you will spend the night in the Kalahari Desert. In the afternoon, walk in the reserve to discover the Kalahari Desert, its dunes and its wildlife (ostriches, oryx... and maybe meerkats, as this is their region). Dinner and overnight at Anib Lodge.

• day 13

  Mariental - Windhoek

  Breakfast, then departure for Windhoek. Free time to visit the capital. Depending on the time of arrival, visit the city center of Windhoek, the administrative, judicial, economic capital and also the heart of Namibia. The city has retained a very significant Germanic imprint that can be seen along the streets and avenues, mainly in the architecture. Windhoek offers a friendly atmosphere with its modern hotels and welcoming guesthouses. Here you will find a mix of races and cultures that represents the image of today's Namibia. A small city compared to other African metropolises, Windhoek surprises with its cleanliness, calm, and provincial town character. Dinner and overnight at Londiningi Guesthouse.

  Windhoek - Airport

  

  Depending on your flights, morning at leisure before your transfer to the airport. Flight to Paris. NB: the itinerary may be operated in reverse order on certain dates.
