    Nairobi - Meru National Park

    Nairobi - Meru National Park

    Welcome upon arrival at JKIA airport in the morning, then drive via the shoulder of Mount Kenya crossing the equator to arrive at your camp in time for lunch. After lunch, you will relax before going on a safari in the late afternoon. Overnight at Ikweta camp or similar (LD).

    Meru National Park

    The day is devoted to observing animals in the park, with safaris in the morning and afternoon. Meru National Park, which is one of Kenya's best-kept secrets, is quiet and you will often feel like you have the park all to yourself, as there is no congestion like in other parks. Little visited, it is completely unspoiled and peaceful. Few places compare to the isolated and wild atmosphere found here. The animals present in Meru National Park that visitors are likely to see are: the bush elephant, the Masai lion, the African leopard, the Tanzanian cheetah, the Eastern black rhinoceros, the Southern white rhinoceros, the Grevy's zebra, the hippopotamus, the Bohor reedbuck, the hartebeest, the python, the viper, the cobra, the buffalo, and more than 427 species of birds. Meru National Park is also one of the two areas where conservationists George Adamson and Joy Adamson raised Elsa, the lioness made famous in the best-selling book and award-winning film "Born Free." Elsa the lioness is buried in this park and part of Joy's ashes were scattered on her grave. Overnight at Ikweta Safari Camp or similar (BLD).

    Meru-Samburu

    After an early breakfast, departure from the hotel at 7:00 am and drive north passing by the shoulder of Mount Kenya to the Samburu Game Reserve, to arrive at your hotel in time for lunch. On the way, we cross the equator. After lunch, we will go on an afternoon safari. The Samburu Reserve is a semi-arid area with open savannah along the Uaso Nyiro River, which is home to abundant wildlife. Overnight at Samburu Simba Lodge or similar (BLD).

    Samburu Game Reserve - Buffalo Springs Game Reserves

    The day is devoted to observing animals in the Samburu game park and in the neighboring Buffalo Springs reserve. Elephants abound; you may see lions, leopards, cheetahs, reticulated giraffes, buffaloes, gerenuks, Grevy's zebras, Somali ostriches, oryxes, and crocodiles. Overnight at Samburu Simba Lodge or similar (BLD).

    Samburu - Lake Nakuru

    Samburu- Lake Nakuru

    After breakfast, we leave at 8:00 am for Lake Nakuru to reach your lodge in time for lunch. On the way, you will visit the Thompson Falls in Nyahururu. In the afternoon, you will visit Lake Nakuru, which is a seasonal home for flamingos (both greater and lesser) and other water birds, including a variety of terrestrial birds totaling about 450 species. It is also a sanctuary for black and white rhinos as well as the Rothschild's giraffe. It is also home to lions, warthogs, water ducks, buffaloes, hippos, pythons, and many other animals. Overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge or similar (BLD).

    Lake Nakuru - Masai Mara

    After breakfast, we leave for the Masai Mara National Reserve. The reserve is popular for its large animals and is a northern extension of the Serengeti National Park ecosystem in Tanzania. We go on a safari in the afternoon. Overnight at Enkorok Mara camp or similar (BLD).

    Day dedicated to observing wild animals with a safari in the morning and afternoon to experience the magic of the Mara! Kenya's premier reserve is renowned for its astonishing concentration of wildlife and is home to lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, Masai giraffes, hippopotamuses, black rhinos, spotted hyenas, and many species of antelopes. The highlight is the annual migration of the great wildebeest in July, August, September, and October each year. Visit the Mara River to see crocodiles and hippopotamuses. In addition, there are more than 470 species in the park, nearly 60 of which are birds of prey. Birds include vultures, marabou storks, secretary birds, hornbills, crowned cranes, ostriches, long-crested eagles, African pygmy falcons, and the lilac-breasted roller.     The day is dedicated to morning and afternoon safaris, or you can opt for a full-day safari with your picnic lunch. On this day, you can also choose a balloon safari (at an additional cost) or a cultural visit to a Maasai village. Overnight at Enkorok camp or similar (BLD).

    Lake Naivasha - Hell's Gate National Park

    Lake Naivasha - Hells Gate National Park

    After breakfast, we leave at 8:00 am towards Lake Naivasha to reach your hotel in time for lunch. After lunch, we visit Hell's Gate National Park. Hell's Gate National Park is a remarkable area of the Great Rift Valley. Spectacular landscapes, such as imposing cliffs, water-carved gorges, austere rock towers, volcanoes covered with scrub, and plumes of geothermal steam, make it one of the most atmospheric parks in Africa. In addition to the biodiversity, which includes birds of prey, visitors can enjoy walking, mountain biking, horseback riding, climbing, and a natural spa. The animals found here are the African buffalo, zebra, eland, hartebeest, Thomson's gazelle, and baboons, as well as the klipspringer antelope and Chandler's mountain reedbuck. There are more than 100 species of birds in the park, including vultures, Verreaux's eagles, augur buzzards, and swifts. Overnight at Lake Naivasha Crescent Camp or similar (BLD).

    After breakfast, we leave for Amboseli National Park and arrive at your hotel in time for lunch. After lunch, we will go on an afternoon safari starting at 4 p.m., with Mount Kilimanjaro in the background. Overnight at Amboseli Sopa Lodge or a similar establishment (BLD).

    Amboseli  National Park

    Day dedicated to game viewing in the park, in the morning and afternoon. Amboseli (392 km²) is supported by marshy vegetation and is home to elephants, buffaloes, hippopotamuses, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, jackals, gazelles, wildebeests, warthogs, zebras, ostriches, and Maasai giraffes, with the magnificent snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro as a backdrop. The waters from the melting snow descend from the mountain through lava flows and surface in the Amboseli plains as marshes. Overnight at Amboseli Sopa Lodge or similar (BLD).
