  • day 1

    Arrival in Reykjavik

    Arrival and pick-up of the car at Reykjavik airport. Possibility to stop for a relaxing swim in the warm waters of the Blue Lagoon, located between the airport and Reykjavik (open until 9pm).

  • day 2

    Golden Circle – Langjökull Glacier – Thjorsadalur Valley

    Departure from Reykjavik for the Golden Circle with Thingvellir National Park, then on to Gullfoss waterfalls, the geysers, and the hot springs of Geysir. You can also see the site of the ancient Icelandic parliament. Hiking possible in the Thjorsadalur valley and at Landmanalaugar (by 4x4 only), at Mount Hekla and on the Langjokull glacier.

    Golden Circle – Langjökull Glacier – Thjorsadalur Valley

    Departure from Reykjavik for the Golden Circle with Thingvellir National Park, then on to Gullfoss waterfalls, the geysers, and the hot springs of Geysir. You can also see the site of the ancient Icelandic parliament. Hiking possible in the Thjorsadalur valley and at Landmanalaugar (by 4x4 only), at Mount Hekla and on the Langjokull glacier.

    South Coasts – Vik

    Continue towards the coast, passing by the impressive Skogafoss and Seljalandsfoss waterfalls, the mythical black sand beaches of Vik, and the Myrdalsjokull glacier. Options: visit the picturesque Skogar museum, snowmobiling on the Myrdalsjokull glacier.

  • day 5

    Vatnajökull Glacier – Skaftafell National Park – Höfn – East Fjords

    Route passing through the picturesque village of Kirkjubaerjarklaustur to Skaftafell National Park, an oasis of greenery at the foot of the Vatnajokull glacier, surrounded by a desert of black lava sand. Continue towards the Jokulsarlon ice lagoon, the town of Hofn and its surrounding fishing villages. Options: jeep excursion on the Vatnajokull glacier, boat excursion on the Jokulsarlon glacial lagoon, glacier ascent in the Skaftafell region.

  • day 6

    Vatnajökull Glacier – Skaftafell National Park – Höfn – East Fjords

    Return to Reykjavik

    Crossing the coast and return to Reykjavik. Option: visit the Vestmann Islands to observe puffins.

    Return to Paris

    Departure for Reykjavik airport, return of the rental car and flight to Paris.
