day 2
Lima - ArequipaYou will leave Lima today to take a flight to Arequipa, the famous "white city of Peru". Your transfer will be waiting for you at the airport to take you to your hotel. From there, you will then have the opportunity to make your own first discovery of the city.
day 3
Visit of the white city of Peru.You will take advantage of this day to take the time to get to know better this beautiful colonial city that is Arequipa. During your morning, you will take part in a guided tour in French of the famous Santa Catalina Monastery. You can enjoy the rest of the day exploring the city at your own pace. Do not hesitate to ask your guide for some advice.
day 4
Excursion to the Colca CanyonYou will leave early in the morning towards the Colca Canyon, where you will first see the Misti and Chachani volcanoes. A quick stop in the Pampa Cañahuas reserve will allow you to observe many llamas, alpacas, and vicuñas in their natural environment. You will then pass through the Patapampa pass, located at 4,820 meters above sea level, before heading towards Chivay. You will then have lunch in the village of Coporaque before discovering the ruins of San Antonio. Finally, you can relax in the hot springs of Chivay before heading to your hotel.

Observation of condors in the Colca canyonToday, you will have an early wake-up to allow you to go observe the famous condors. The "Cruz del Condor" is without a doubt the best place to observe these birds of prey, with the magnificent landscapes of the Colca canyon as a backdrop. An unforgettable spectacle, for sure! On the way back, you will stop in the villages of Maca, Pinchollo, and Yanque, which are full of charm, with their small colonial churches and Inca tombs carved directly into the cliff. You will then go to the town of Chivay and have the afternoon to visit this small town at your own pace.
day 6
Arequipa – PunoYou will have your morning free to go for a short hike in the surroundings of Arequipa, or to take a bike or horseback ride. You will also have the opportunity (option included in the price) to spend the morning with the inhabitants of a village in the canyon. You can take part in the villagers’ daily tasks, which vary depending on the seasons and days of the week, an experience that is certainly unusual! You will leave in the afternoon towards Puno, a city located near the famous Lake Titicaca.
day 7
Navigation on Lake TiticacaThis morning, you will embark on a day of exploration of Lake Titicaca, notably known for being the highest navigable lake in the world. You will visit the floating islands of Uros, whose history dates back to the time of the Incas. Further off the beaten path, you will then head to the island of Taquile, which has managed to preserve its ancient craft traditions, particularly in textiles.
day 8
Puno - CuscoYou will leave your hotel this morning heading towards Cusco. This journey takes between 9 and 10 hours, but the magnificent landscapes you will cross will undoubtedly make you forget the time. In addition, many stops are planned, notably in Juliaca to visit a small museum about the Pukara culture, then in the villages of Raya and Sicuani. You will therefore have many opportunities to stretch your legs. You will arrive in Cusco at the end of the afternoon.

Guided tour of the Inca capitalWelcome to the very beautiful city of Cusco, the former capital of the Inca Empire! This city has amazing architecture, harmoniously blending colonial architecture with Inca foundations. You will start your day with a guided tour accompanied by a French-speaking guide. This visit will give you a good overview of the city as well as the archaeological sites that surround it. You will have your afternoon free to explore the city as you wish.
day 10
Excursion in the Sacred ValleyToday, you will discover the famous Sacred Valley of the Incas with your French-speaking guide. You will start by visiting the beautiful site of Pisaq, which offers a very nice view of the valley. You will then go to the Urubamba valley and, at the end of the afternoon, take your train to Aguas Calientes.
day 11
Visit to the lost citadel of the Incas: Machu PicchuThe long-awaited visit to the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu will take place today. You will take a bus for about thirty minutes to reach the site, then explore it for 3 hours during a fascinating guided tour. You will then have free time to explore the ruins at your own pace, before taking the bus back to Aguas Calientes, then a train to Ollantaytambo.
day 12
Expedition in the Sacred ValleyThis morning, you will set out on a new expedition in the sacred valley of the Incas. Accompanied by your French-speaking guide, you will first go to the Maras salt mines, those famous pools carved into the mountainside during the time of the Incas. You will then head towards Moray, where you can observe vast circular terraces, used by the Incas for agriculture. You will then go to the village of Chinchero, known for its colonial architecture, before heading to Cusco.
day 13
Free day in Cusco.The program for this day is completely free, allowing you to relax and enjoy Cusco at your own pace. You can, for example, visit one of the Andean markets in the city, or go shopping to find some souvenirs.
day 14
Return to FranceYou will leave Cusco today for Lima, then you will take your flight to France.
