• day 1

  From Bali to Java

  After breakfast, we will come to meet you at the hotel and you will take possession of the motorcycles that will accompany you for 7 days. We will then take small roads crossing from the South to the Northwest of Bali, for a first immersion in the beautiful Balinese rice fields and countryside. We will then board a small local ferry for a 1-hour crossing between Bali and Java. Just 10 kilometers from the port is the hotel where you will spend your first Javanese night: a magnificent wooded park, a few bungalows, a lovely swimming pool in the heart of the garden, a live music band on the terrace in the evening...

• day 2

  From Banyuwangi to Sukamade

  The hotel's breakfast buffet gets you ready to start the day. We will cover about 170 km (including 150 km of small paths). We will have lunch near a very beautiful beach that we will keep secret for now... A very revitalizing break during which you can take a dip facing the green islets floating in front of the sparkling beach. We will then take roads through fields to reach a tropical forest filled with huge, almost century-old trees... After crossing a few rivers, we will arrive at Sukamade in a local guesthouse in the heart of the national park... At nightfall, we will go to observe sea turtles laying eggs on a protected beach, a truly moving moment!

• day 3

  From Sukamade to Watu Ulo

  For those who wish, it is possible to get up very early and go watch the release of baby turtles on the same beach. After breakfast, we will leave Sukamade through the cocoa plantations... We will take a narrow path through a very wild primary forest – a route appreciated by mountain bike and motorcycle enthusiasts – to arrive at a small pass overlooking the lush vegetation. This view will be the sign of a beautiful day on the small paths connecting unique picturesque villages that so well represent Java as it is. We will arrive in the late afternoon on the Watu Ulo peninsula... an authentic haven of peace where we will sleep in small huts on the beach. In the evening, we will have dinner on the beach with grilled fish that we will have previously chosen from the day's catch.

• day 4

  From Watu Ulo to Bromo

  This day will remain engraved in your memory, it is surely the most wonderful of the trip. After a breakfast on the beach, we will set off through paths in the teak plantations. We will gradually climb in altitude by taking a beautiful road with magnificent curves, within a pine forest that is refreshing for the body and restful for the mind. This ascent on small mountain roads will lead us to Bromo. Reaching this incredible volcano, which rises to 2200 m in altitude, via a 20 km long sand caldera, is an unforgettable moment even for the most experienced... After spending the day in green and lush vegetation, you will cross a lunar landscape to the hotel reminiscent of mountain chalets facing Bromo. Wake up at 4 am for those who wish to observe the sunrise over the majestic Bromo and Semeru (40 min by 4x4 in the sand).

• day 5

  Discovery of Bromo

  The incredible landscape that surrounds us here requires a full day of exploration! After breakfast, we will set off with the motorcycles for those who wish... We will climb as close as possible to the Bromo crater to listen to the rumbling of volcanic gases... We will then cross the sandy caldera again, and then stroll along the heights of the caldera... We will pass under tree trunks lying across the narrow and winding path, and we will discover agricultural valleys worthy of a painting that would challenge the greatest realist painters... A day full of emotions: a true imprint on your minds! You can enjoy a massage in the evening at the hotel.

• day 6

  From Bromo to Jember

  It is not easy to leave the breathtaking view of Mount Bromo, but the following day remains very pleasant and the landscapes will be just as surprising. We will descend from the volcano before lunch by a small hilly road. We will take pretty little roads until we reach a beautiful lake lined with coconut trees: a landscape of rare serenity... After a short swim in the fresh water and a simple, local lunch, we will climb Mount Gambir in the middle of tea plantations. The rain, present in every season, has given rise to dense vegetation of incredible beauty. We will then descend by small stony paths towards the town of Jember, where we will spend the night in a pleasant hotel.

• day 7

  From Jember to Banyuwangi

  For this second-to-last day of the trip, we will leave Jember early and take very charming small roads that run along a canal. We will then be able to witness beautiful scenes of life around this canal; the early morning light is very soft. We will arrive at the foot of Kawah Ijen a little before noon and will then put on our hiking shoes for a 1.5-hour ascent on foot. The sulfur carriers calmly descending the slope, the breathtaking view of the lake, and the palette of colors spreading out below will all be notable features of this morning. Then, we will head down to the town of Banyuwangi via splendid small paths through the clove plantations. In total, 170 km including 80 km of small paths, 40 km of rough roads, and 50 km of secondary roads.
