  Arrival at Kilimanjaro

  

  Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport. Welcome upon arrival, transfer to Arusha for the night at Lake Duluti Serena Hotel. www.serenahotels.com

• day 2

  Arusha, Tarangire National Park

  

  After breakfast, meet your driver-guide, ready for the road transfer to Tarangire National Park for a safari. Tarangire National Park covers 2,800 km² and is dotted with baobab landscapes. The Tarangire River provides a haven for many animals, including huge herds of elephants, which are the main attraction of the park. Lunch will be served at Tarangire Safari Lodge.   Tarangire, Lake Manyara

  

  Breakfast at the hotel. Meet your driver for a safari briefing, then cross the Maasai steppe towards the village of Mto wa Mbu for lunch. In the afternoon, safari in Lake Manyara National Park. The park is made up of five distinct vegetation zones. Birdlife is abundant.   Karatu-Ngorongoro Conservation Area

  

  Breakfast at the lodge around 09:30, then continue towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Authority area for a safari in the Ngorongoro Crater. The crater offers classic game viewing opportunities, where the rare black rhinoceroses can be easily spotted. The crater is also a refuge for big cats such as lions. Hippopotamuses can be observed living peacefully in the hippo pools. Lake Magadi is the habitat of flamingos and other small birds in the crater. Lunch will be a picnic at the bottom of the crater.   Ngorongoro - Serengeti National Park

  

  Early breakfast, then departure for Serengeti National Park. Serengeti National Park is the largest national park in northern Tanzania. It is a World Heritage Site and a biosphere reserve covering an area of 14,763 km2. The park is home to various animal species, including the only remaining majestic great migration of wildebeest and zebras, which move through the famous Kenyan Maasai Mara National Reserve, Serengeti National Park, Grumeti Reserve, Maswa Game Reserve, Loliondo Game Controlled Area, Ikorongo Game Reserve, and the Ngorongoro Crater. Lunch will be a picnic on the way. The afternoon safari in the Serengeti will take you to the Serengeti Serena Lodge, located in the center of the Serengeti, where you will spend one night and enjoy your dinner at the lodge. www.serenahotels.com

  Serengeti National Park

  

  Full day safari in the famous Serengeti National Park World Reserve. The park offers a wide range of game and different landscapes. All meals and overnight stay are provided at the Serengeti Serena Lodge.

• day 7

  Serengeti National Park

  

  After breakfast, you will pack your bags and leave the lodge heading north of the Serengeti to enjoy more pleasures and chances to witness the famous great migration. A picnic is planned along the way. You will spend a full day on safari, which will end at the Mara River, in the northern Serengeti National Park, where the migration will take place.   Serengeti National Park

  

  Last full day of safari in Serengeti National Park. All meals and the night are planned at Maramara Tented Lodge.

• day 9

  Serengeti, Arusha, return home, Zanzibar islands

  

  After breakfast, transfer to the nearest airstrip to take a light aircraft to Arusha. Lunch in town in Arusha, then transfer in the afternoon to Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport for your return flight, or to the spice islands of Zanzibar to further enjoy the sandy beaches.
