  Day 01: Luang Prabang – Arrival

  ♦ Arrival at the airport. ♦ Welcome and transfer to the hotel. ♦ Overnight in Luang Prabang.

• day 2

  Day 02: Luang Prabang – Pak Ou Cave

  ♦ Visit of the Royal Palace Museum. ♦ Upstream cruise on the Mekong River according to the "Holidays in Laos 7 days" program. ♦ Stop at the village of Ban Xanghai. ♦ A typical Laotian lunch will be served during the return cruise to Luang Prabang. ♦ Discovery of the magnificent Wat Xiengthong. ♦ Visit of the Center for Traditional Arts and Ethnology to better understand the different ethnic cultures of Laos. ♦ Discovery of Wat Phabaht Tai and the night market. ♦ Night in Luang Prabang.

• day 3

  Day 03: Luang Prabang – The Kuang Si Waterfalls – Luang Prabang

  ♦ Breakfast at the hotel. ♦ Climb the 329 steps. ♦ Visit Wat Visoun. ♦ Direct discovery of the beautiful Kuang Si waterfall. ♦ Visit the Kuang Si Butterfly Park (closed on Tuesdays). ♦ Discovery of the Ock Pop Tok Handicraft Center. ♦ Night in Luang Prabang.

• day 4

  Day 04: Luang Prabang – Pakse – Bolaven Plateau

  ♦ Free time before taking the flight to Pakse, the largest city in southern Laos. ♦ Upon arrival, continue east to Pakse and onto the Bolaven Plateau. ♦ Stop at a tea plantation, followed by a stop at Tad Fan, a picturesque waterfall. The last stop will be at a coffee plantation before arriving at your destination for the evening. ♦ Overnight at Bolaven Plateau.

• day 5

  Day 05: Bolaven Plateau – Wat Phou – Done Khong

  ♦ Breakfast. ♦ Discovery of the ThaTeng market. ♦ Visit to Ban Bong Neua, an Alak village with a sacrificial altar, and Ban Kokphung, a Katu village where they keep coffins under their houses. ♦ Arrival at the beautiful Tad Phaxuam waterfall in the middle of the morning before leaving the Bolaven plateau and continuing to Champassak at lunchtime. ♦ In the afternoon, visit to Wat Phou, an ancient Khmer religious complex dating from the 5th century. ♦ Continue the road to Champassak. ♦ Overnight on Khong Island.

• day 6

  Day 06: Done Khong Island – 4000 islands – Done Daeng

  ♦ Breakfast. ♦ Boat trip to Khone Island. ♦ Exploration of the peaceful local villages of Ban Khone. ♦ Visit of the 4000 Islands area by tuktuk and the wonderful Liphi waterfall. ♦ Long-tail boat ride at Ban Nakasang. ♦ Transfer south to go to Khone Phapheng. ♦ Arrival in Champasak. ♦ Boat ride to the beautiful island of Daeng. ♦ Overnight at La Folie Lodge hotel.

• day 7

  Day 07: Daeng Island – Pakse – Departure trip

  ♦ Stroll around the island to explore it at your leisure, before your transfer to Pakse to take the departure flight to Siem Reap or Bangkok.
