After reaching the Westfjords, you explore the main attraction of the region: the Látrabjarg cliffs, the westernmost point of Europe. During the summer, the cliffs, which are 444 meters high, are occupied by millions of puffins, gannets, guillemots, and little auks. Continue towards the Hólmavík region. Visit the Strandir coast, one of the least visited corners of Iceland. In this region, you will be able to learn more about ancient witchcraft. End your day in the fertile and green valleys of Laugar Sælingsdalur, a region rich in ancient folklore. Optional: Museum of Witchcraft in Hólmavík.

Laugar Sælingsdalur - Borgarfjörður – ReykjavíkViking heritage – Mysterious waterfalls – the most powerful hot spring in Europe (about 290 km) Drive to Eiríksstaðir, where you can see the replica of the house of the Viking Erik the Red and his son Leif Eriksson, two of the most famous Vikings in the world. Discover the Borgarfjörður region and visit the beautiful and mysterious waterfalls of Hraunfossar and Barnafoss, the historic site of Reykholt, and the hot springs of Deildartunguhver. Take the road via the Hvalfjörður fjord to reach Reykjavík.
