    Welcome to Gujarat - Naida - Gir National Park

    Your arrival at Diu airport and visit to the Naida caves. Drive to the national park and check-in at the camp. First safari in the afternoon.

  • day 2

    Gir National Park

    Gir National Park was created to serve as the last refuge of the Asiatic lion. There are about 300 individuals in the park. It is rare to be able to observe them, but your visit to Gir will be an opportunity to see deer, antelopes, fallow deer, and parrots. The luckiest visitors may even catch a glimpse of hyenas, panthers, or bears. The inhabitants of Nagaland continue to keep their traditions intact, visible in their costumes and hairstyles which incorporate tiger fangs, skins, feathers, and other symbolic ornaments.

    Palitana

    Departure for your next destination: Palitana, the most important Jain pilgrimage site.

    Palitana

    Early in the morning, ascent of the Shatrunjaya hill. 863 temples are gathered at the top of the hill (about 2 hours of walking to climb the 3,500 steps or the possibility of a palanquin, to be paid on site). Discovery of the site and the superb temples of Adinath and Chaumukh.

    Dasada

    Departure for Dasada and jeep ride to discover the unusual landscapes of the region, its Rabari (nomadic) and Banjara (sedentary) populations, as well as its varied wildlife: gudkhur, famous wild asses unique to this region, antelopes, gazelles, hyenas or jackals, grey herons or cranes.

    Dasada

    Day dedicated to visiting the villages of the Vadiara, Sindhi or Samra shepherds, as well as the Rabari camel herder tribes, renowned for their embroidery and silk weaving, and the salt workers.

  • day 7

    Poshina

    Departure for Poshina, where you will settle into a charming small hotel. On the way, stop at Modhera, where one of the rare temples dedicated to the ancient solar deity Surya is located. The temple and its superb portico face a basin whose steps house multiple sanctuaries. End of the afternoon at the Poshina market, where villagers from the surrounding area gather. You observe the endless negotiations in the blacksmiths' stalls and admire the potters' workshops where the terracotta horses that make the city famous are shaped, then those of the goldsmiths. A glance at the 14th-century Shiva temple.

    Poshina

    Day dedicated to continuing visits in the surrounding areas, inhabited by Garasia and Bhil tribes. In the afternoon, discovery of Garasia villages, to the west of Poshina. The family houses there are spacious and the outfits very colorful. You continue towards hamlets of Rabari tribes. The women's arms are adorned with bangles up to the elbow. Excursion to the great Vishnuite temple of Shamlaji.

    Bera

    Departure for an adventure in the heart of the desert, habitat of the wild leopard, which awaits you at Jawai Leopard Camp, in Bera. Welcome and installation in the camp. In the late afternoon, departure for a safari to observe the leopards. Night under the tent. Accommodation with full board.

    Bera

    Day in the heart of rural Rajasthan to visit a Bishnoi village and get an insight into the culture and traditions of these people, recognized as the first defenders of the environment. Visit a Dhurrie workshop, a cotton rug manufacturer whose products are highly prized around the world. The afternoon is free.

    Udaipur

    Road to the most romantic city in Rajasthan. Founded in 1568 by Maharaja Udai Singh, it has remained one of the richest cities in treasures in all of India. Surrounded by hills, it is reflected in three small lakes, the largest of which is Pichola.

  • day 12

    Udaipur

    Visit of the "Venice of the East", its City Palace, the royal palace of Udaipur, the Saheliyonki Bari, the garden of the handmaidens, and the Jagdish temple, dedicated to the god Vishnu. Discovery on foot of the shopping alleys.

    Goodbye

    Depending on the time of your return flight, transfer to the airport and end of our services.
