In the morning after breakfast, pick up from the hotel and transfer to Tarangire National Park. The park runs along the Tarangire River and is mostly made up of low hills at the bottom of the Great Rift Valley. Its natural vegetation consists mainly of acacia forests and giant African baobabs, with immense marshy areas to the south. The river and the marshes act as a magnet for wild animals during Tanzania's dry season. Tarangire National Park is renowned for containing some of Africa's largest elephant herds. This African national park is also home to three rare animal species: the greater kudu, the fringed-eared oryx, as well as some ash starlings. After a picnic, we go on an afternoon game drive. Then dinner and overnight at Marera Valley View Lodge

In the morning at 07:00, we will drive to the Ngorongoro Crater and descend over 600 meters into the crater to observe wildlife for a half day game drive. Supported by a year-round water and fodder supply, Ngorongoro National Park is home to a wide variety of animals, including herds of wildebeest, zebras, buffalo, elk, warthogs, hippos and giant African elephants. Another big attraction of this scenic national park is its dense predator population, which includes lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. We will visit Lake Magadi, a large, shallow alkaline lake in the southwest corner, which is the one of the main features of the crater. Large numbers of flamingos, hippos, and other waterfowl can usually be seen here. Dinner then transfer to Serengeti National Park for the night in Serengeti at Narudi Tented Camp.

Day 4 : Full Day Serengeti National Park

Be one of the lucky few to fly over the Serengeti plains in a hot air balloon (available at extra cost by prior arrangement). Float silently above the awakening bush, while spotting wildlife and enjoying Africa's amazing landscapes, across rivers and over many small villages. We go on an after breakfast safari along the Sogore River Circuit, which winds through the plains south of the Seronera River, and is good for possible sightings of lion, Thomson's gazelle, topi, ostrich and cheetah. The visitor center near the Serengeti Seronera Lodge and public campsites is well worth a visit after the morning game drive. This well-designed center offers interesting wildlife exhibits as well as a gift shop selling information leaflets and maps of the area. The center also has a shop where one can buy cold drinks and snacks, as well as a picnic area and an information trail around a nearby kopje. We will enjoy a relaxed picnic in the center in the shade of the giant acacias. In the afternoon, we will follow the Kopjes Circuit, which rotates counterclockwise around the Maasai Kopjes, which usually attract a number of terrifically large lions and cobras. The Kopjes are weathered granite outcrops scattered across the plains, most of which are miniature ecosystems, providing shade and drinking water in ponds left in the rock after the rains. This makes kopjes particularly suitable for viewing wildlife during the dry seasons - including lions, who like to watch for animals that come to drink! Dinner and overnight in the Serengeti at Narudi Tented Camp.

After breakfast at the lodge, we go on a morning game drive departing for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We will stop at Olduvai Gorge, whose history dates back to the dawn of time. It is here that anthropologists Drs. Lois and Mary Leakey discovered the skulls of "Nutcracker Man" and "Handy Man", two very important links in the chain of human evolution. Later, transfer to Arusha for dinner and overnight Hotel
